Scarletwebslingr and I were talking about the movie when we were waiting in line for the house at HHN and to us it doesn't look like a scary movie at all, it just looks like a really cool movie. I'm actually pretty excited about it. I like the time period it takes place in and all that. The transformation is pretty cool too.

To me it's like Bram Stoker's Dracula, Sleepy Hallow or Interview... it isn't necessarily "scary" but it is just very cool and interesting. I will most likely watch it with a big smile on my face. I love this kind of stuff

Remember how good the house was? Hold on to that feeling... it'll be the only good thing associated with this movie.

I mean, I didn't even think the house was all that. Personally I felt it was the weakest one last year.

I guess that's not saying much for the movie.

I liked it more than I did Spawning and Chucky... Not that that says much either...

Spawning was the worst to me. SO boring.
Shame about the movie. Loving classic horror flicks I had high hopes for this one.

I saw didn't really like it though. I thought the graphics were a bit cheesey (maybe a homage to the orginal? IDK), and it was bit gorey for my taste. Loved Emily Blunts acting though I thought she did a really good job.
