We had dinner at the Rose and Crown for the Candlelight Processional this past December. After never eating there in the past, we were very surprised and happy not only with the quantity of food but the quality as well. It is definitely a retaurant we will return to.

I'd agree. I went down with some friends in August and really enjoyed this place, especially the beer sampler ;)

I like the atmosphere in the rose and crown (very much like a pub over here) but the food isn't up to scratch for me. We only ever go for the fireworks viewing, but we've never got a table on the patio.

Thanks to Gentleman ArRi (go team Duffy!)

Last year's visit: Sorry, I can't remember restaurant names. That's my wife's job. I'll denote counter service, otherwise assume sit down.

Japan: Fine, nothing special. Waited an hour for our "reserved" table. Counter service was much better!
Counter service in Moroco was excellent!! Better than the sit down.
    China: Meh.
Counter service fish and chips in England are awesome!!!
    Germany: Good, but waaaaaaaaaaaay heavy.
    Italy: Meh
    France: Great lamb!
Nostalgia sure isn't what it used to be.

Our favorites are definitely Rose and Crown Pub in UK, Teppan Edo in Japan, and San Angel Inn in Mexico! We've never done a trip without doing at least two of those three.

I love the Mexico restaurant indoors and out. Does anyone know if you have the Full Dining plan if you can still use those credits at a Quick Service place? I only ask because we have gotten the QS the last two years and we like to hit a restaurant now and again. I guess the prices might even out with the more you pay to upgrade the plan versus paying out of pocket for a few meals.
