I wore the lanyard the 2 days we attended. It was easy to spot the people from this site. At first it was strange approaching people that you really don't know. However after a few introduction to people, I had no problem going up to people and introducing myself. It was alot of fun! Everyone we meet from this site was really nice. A group picture would have been nice, but with people going in all different directions to attend
different thing going on through out the day just would have made it hard.

Am guessing vendors had to pay for the booths as several disney webboards were in the booths there. But yes, since you are promoting a singular line of a new Disney product, Disney should want to sponsor you. You could have had a presence in a corner table of the Vinylmation area where they displayed new Vinylmations (I call them V!) as there was always plenty of room (although maybe not now).

well even though i didnt wear mine to d23 i was thinking of just wearing it while im at disneyland pin / vinyl trading and ill make little ones which i can buy cheap lanyard or bolo lanyars and give to guest when they are interested in finding out...

I just came across this today, and since i've been looking around different printing services, I came to think:

what if instead of just printing this from a home computer, we can get an actual "pin on button" made to sport around when at various events. If you don't know what I'm talking about: http://www.zazzle.com/custom/buttons or http://buttons.cafepress.com/

I was going to design something on my own and sample it for everyone, but I don't have time to do that tonight. Other forums do this for their events. I know cost is a factor, but on a per person basis, it's fairly cheap. I think Zazzle will allow you to upload the design and allow users to buy it on a per-button basis, so I think using that service to create merchandise unique to this site and will identify its members, will be cool.

I did a poor man's version of lamination for the tag I attached to my backpack for the D23 expo. After trimming the tagger, I "laminated" it in between two pieces of clear packing tape. Then I trimmed the tape. It worked out well.

That is actually a great idea. The taggers were designed to print out about the same size as a 3" vinyl, so if you have tape that is at least as wide as a vinyl, then you have a perfect little laminating kit.
