Finally just took some pics of my second custom vinyl figure. This ones for my mom's B-day which is this Wed (19th). Well she's a soccer fan and one of her favorite teams are the Chivas Mexico. I like painting on the 9" figures; but the only downside is the $40 price tag on them; but oh well.
This was also the first figure that I used rat-can clear on. Thankfully the clear didnt cause the paint to drip off or the sharpie to come off either (I used sharpie to write a messege to my mom under the feet) It's Krylon UV-Resistant Clear /Acrylic Coating with Matte finish. I picked it up at Joanns arts and crafts store It dries quick and I will for sure be using this stuff for any other figures or airbrushed canvasas that I happen to work on in the future.
I used the design from a jersey she has as my design for the body, ofcourse I changed the number on the back and the last name to go with hers. As for the face I used one of the teams logo or symbol that I found online.

I'm fairly happy with how it came out and I cant wait til she see's it on Wednesday! For my next figure i'm kinda stuck between doing a 3" figure or another 9" figure. I know for sure that with my next 9" I want to test out how or what I can pull of with an airbrush. So I'll see what I decide on!![]()
