What are everyone's favorite hidden mickey's??!!

I know that I go often enough the I LOVE looking for hidden mickey's. Not to say I have one HM that I like overall, but I have personal favorites for each park/ property. For example, in the queue for expedition Everest the yeti wrecked campsite there is a tea kettle that is smashed in the shape of mickey's face. DTD, the classic mickey in the sidewalk near HOB is awesome and was my first mickey that I hunted down! Oh almost forgot the cats shadow on Pirates!!!
SOOOO....lets all share our favorites, or maybe ones that you havent been able to find or funny searching stories.

Before they redid the mansion at WDW, there used to be a hidden Donald on one of the chair backs. It took me forever to convince minniemose35 it actually existed. I think the cat's shadow in Pirates is one of my favorites too. There has been so many of them and they change, so its hard to keep track of them.
Please keep all forward facing tentacles clear of the track.

I like the one in Walt Disney: One Man's Dream at Hollywod Studios. There is a Jungle Cruise model and if you look on the 2nd level of one of the huts there's a broken fence piece there. I didn't realize it until after I got home and was looking at photos.

On It's a Small World. In the jungle room, there is a hole vine of Mickey Head shaped leaves right before you leave the room. I think there are 12 or so of those. Got to be the most hidden mickeys in one place.

Hmmm.... i would say the one inside the Rock n Roller Coaster preshow. The wires on the floor are in the shape of a mickey which is difficult to see if you are on the top platform but easier to see on the lower platform. Or the one in test track viewable from the on-ride photo.

    Good call.

I like all the ones that pop up in the Christmas decorations, particularly on the gingerbread houses.

I'm pretty sure that chair is still there. It makes Donald's face.

I like the really simple ones that are so easy to spot yet so hard to find: dishes on the table in the HM, fishing bobbers in Splash Mountain, things like that.

It is, I saw it there when I was there in February. It is pretty hard to see at first, but once you know what you're looking at, it's so easy to spot! Also one of my favorites!

I was able to get a few close-up pics of this one when I was there in hs for a choir trip and the ride stopped while I was right next to it.

I also really like the HM in the mural of the Norway Pavillion. I think it's still there....the Viking wearing Mickey Ears????

Holy Crap! All these years going to WDW I never knew there were Hidden Mickey's to look for. I thought I was pretty knowledgeable able the place, boy was I wrong!
Is there a scavenger hunt map of some sort? Is there one at every attraction? How do you know where to look? There's Mickey's is all over the place.

I've used this book to help me find some, but it's a lot of the fun is spotting them on your own. The only problem with using the book exclusively is that Imagineers will change them out sometimes when working on rides. The author of this book puts out a new edition every year or so, so he's pretty up to date. http://www.amazon.com/Hidden-Mickeys...2685829&sr=1-1
There are some HM that are unoffical. For instance, I heard an interview on one of the Disney podcasts I listen to talking about the one in the Mansion with the plates. If I remember right the person in the interview said that the Imagineers didn't put that there, but CMs started doing it on their own. Also, HM aren't neccesarliy just Mickey mouse. They can be any of the characters like the Donald in Mansion. And they're not always Mickey ear-shaped. There is one in Splash Mountain in that last big scene with the riverboat . It's Mikey's silhouette laying in the clouds. I love HMs because they always give you something to look for when you're at the parks. You can also find them throughout the resorts. There is one in the fireplace of the Wilderness Lodge.

Wow! I was really missing on some fun. This gives a whole new perspective. Now while looking for pins and VM's I'll have an eye out for Hidden Mickey's. That is so cool!
Thank You for the insight!! I can't wait to try it out.

    You can start off here:

There's also a cool book that's small enough to carry around the park. I'm pretty sure they also sell it in the parks too!

I forgot to add my favorite Hidden Mickey is on DL's Big Thunder. It is made up of three huge gears at the bottom of the hill just before you see the goat. It's not apparent at first because you can only see two of the gears, and to see it clearly you have to look back.

I like that one too. There's also another good one at BTM. It's Tinker Bell's silhouette cut into the stone. I want to say it's in the queue, but I could be wrong, it could be when exiting the ride. It's very angled to look like just a jagged break in the rock, but once you find it, it's obvious it's there. I think I may have gotten that one from the book.

Edit*** It is in the exit. I just found a picture of it on the Hidden Mickey guide site:

The hardest one I know of to find for adults is in the Germany pavilion in Epcot. I think it is Germany, at least. On the right hand side, in the first shop, on the short wall holding up the counter there is a hidden mickey carved into the wood. Younger kids would see it fairly easily, but adults would only happen upon it if tying a shoe. It has been a while, but I think it is Germany and the shop is a little beer bar or something like that now.

My favorite ones are on Splash Mountain and a rock at Riverside. The one on Splash is on the end of one of the briar vines that you pass as you go by the final drop on the way to the first lift. The one at Riverside is on a rock by the bridge that goes from the main walkway to in between the last two manors.

I can't find photos of them, so hopefully someone knows what I"m talking about.

Man, I can't wait now to go. My next trip is in December and already I'm chomping at the bit. I did order the book from amazon, but my patient level isn't too good waiting for stuff in the mail, especially from amazon.
The photo of Tinker Bell...I don't know how many times I've walked past it and never noticed. You can bet I will now!!

I dont know if this is a hidden mickey, so maybe someone can help me out, but when we were driving away from WDW a few weeks ago, on the GPS, there was a little lake/big pond that was showing up on the gps that was in the shape of mickeys head (the 3 circles, not profile). I thought it was so cool, but wasn't sure if it was just by random chance, or if that was indeed a hidden mickey!

I don't know if it considered a hidden mickey, but there is a power pole shaped like the Mickey circles off I-4 going towards Tampa just south of the Celebration exit on the right.

This isn't a lake, but it's not far from WDW at all. It's a grove of trees planted in the shape of a Hidden Mickey:

I think I'd heard on one of the Disney podcasts that that one was done by CMs or former CMs or something....could be wrong.
