Julie Andrews product signing at Grand Californian Hotel

Julie Andrews, well known for her work in films such as Mary Poppins, will be having a product signing at the Grand Californian Resort.

Here are the details:
Date: Saturday, August 29, 2009
Time: 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Location: Disney's Grand Californian Hotel® & Spa, Disneyland® Resort

Of course, you there are limitations to the product signing. You may not bring other items for signing. Only purchased items at the resort may be signed. These paintings are various sized pieces from Toby Bluth and Julie Andrews' book titled Julie Andrews' Collection of Poems, Songs and Lullabies.

For those that can not make it, you may purchase a pre-signed book online at the following link: http://www.disneynow.com/profile/for...rmID=0x7615d3c. Books will start to ship out November 4, so buying online will not get it to you right away. The pre-signed book sells for $24.99.

It has to be specific resort bought merchandise. You can't bring your copy of mary poppins for her to sign. Sorry.

You guys get the cool attractions that bring in more tourists than Disneyland. We need to find ways to get locals to come by here and getting people like Julie Andrews to do a signing is one of those ways. I am just surprised that they are doing it at their hotels rather than inside the park.
