That is how we got started was at Pin Trading night we trade LE pins for Park Series 1. We where very luckly at the time. Neither the person trading the Vinylmation or us knew anything about these. My daughter just liked them. Trading with pin trader isn't all that bad. I have been trading for years. There is good and bad. I have made some really good friends from pin trading.
I hope they dont go to crazy with this. I think it can make it easier to have a avenue for people to get what they need for their sets, I want this to still be fun. Thats why I collect these. Theyre fun.
I am so excited to hear about this. I am running the 1/2 marathon and decided to stay the week to go to the expo! I wonder what extra vinyls I should take for trading. It will be difficult for me, even though I may have two of a kind, I still find it hard to let go. Who else is going to the expo? It would be fun to meet you.![]()

I've been keeping an eye on the D23 site numerous times each day watching for updates and was excited to see this and many other updates. Less than 30 days away
I am just starting out with my collection but this would be good possibly if two people decide to go in and buy a case of two different series; Urban 2 and Holiday perhaps and then trade their extras with each other, or if the Holiday series is out at the Expo and one person grabs a few 3" boxes and another does maybe they could trade if the don't get what they want, or at least in my sake I'm not as interested in the Halloween ones as other are so would be willing to trade those for any of the Christmas or stars & stripes.
Hey Sledge: ideas on how us members can identify ourselves at the Expo and bring some more people over to the forums? Sending you a PM

Will there be a pin trading vs. vinylmation trading battle? Who will win? I see a standoff between the two groups. Vinylmators Unite!!!!! Hahaha....jus kiddin'.

Hi, I, too, would love to have a meet with fellow vinyl lovers. Also, where is everyone staying? I'm going frugal but want to be close to the convention center. Right now I have Cortona Inn booked at $84/night (via D23 expo web site).

I needed to remove the images and will have to redesign them. The template/outline of the shape was actually drawn by someone as opposed to being a scan. I was sent the image a few months back and had thought it was safe to use. I received an email from the artist asking me to remove it. I will draw up my own template, which should look pretty much identical since the design was created by Disney, and I'll have new images posted up soon. Sorry, guys.

I will take mine off my photobucket page too and add the new ones when I make a new one with the updated image.

Some of the pin traders are mean and only want to deal with you if you can go get them what they want. I must say that for all the bad there are good. I have found that some pin traders are the best people you could meet. I have learned to try them out and some are real nice. Stay away from the Sharks.

I will be attending and cant wait , I'll be staing at the marriott next door from the convention center so we got a spot for the after party!!!!
It's true, there is always good with the bad. I have met many pin traders who were exceptionally friendly and willing to help work out trades.
The ones that ruin it for the others are the ones who just come across as being so arrogant. You would ask to see their pins and they would look at yours and before you could even ask to trade they would just tell you that you had nothing of value and they wouldn't be interested in making any trades at all.I kind of really got a distaste for trying to pin trade and stopped completely cause I just didn't feel like it was worth it to be treated that way.
Now, hopefully all vinylmation traders will be happy, excited and super nice people that we will all want to trade with!!![]()
I'm bringing all of my Park 2 doubles ^_^ I have a ton of Monkeys but I'd be willing to trade for other fillers like the dark blue from clear. Hopefully I'll be able to trade my Alien for something decent, lots of people like that one ^_^
I'm sure this info is on this site somewhere, but I can't seem to locate it - so apologies as I ask this question. Excluding the 5 footer auction, EXACTLY what vinyls are going to be exclusive to D23? Is there more than one 9"? How many D23 3" will there be? Thanks in advance...

All info we know is here: http://www.vinylnation.net/forums/showthread.php?t=658
Information regarding the special release vinyls can now be found in the sub-category of "Specials & Cast Exclusives". The specific thread you are looking for is this one:

To quickly answer your questions, there is one 3" that is for D23 members, and the 9" Metal Mickey (by NOAH) released at the Expo. The product developer said they are hoping to release the Holiday series at the Expo as well, but it will be released at WDW and Disneyland as well.

If anyone who is going to the expo would be willing to pick up a 3" and 9" at the Expo for me, I would appreciate it (if they allow extra purchases). PM me and we can work something out.
