As some of you know the past week has been very hectic for me. I had company in town the day of the (short notice) release of Urban 2 which delayed the major site update about half a week, and now I'm back in the hospital with kidney stones. I can still view the forum from my bed, but this is obviously preventing me from doing any site updates. Usually I have the What's To Come update the night of the Artist Signing but this one is going to be late. (Definitely check out Mouseman's thread for pictures and info.)
It has become obvious that the site has grown pretty rapidly and we need to add a few more Staff Members. Some of the duties include moderating the forum, taking pictures, occasional but rare phone calls to Disney stores and helping with site updates.
Preferably:
- Very active on the forum
-- Mod experience a plus
- A good knowledge of Vinylmation, including names, correct series, artist, etc.
- Photoshop, Dreamweaver & Filezilla a plus but not required
- Decent camera
- Access to a majority of the figures and willing to take pictures when needed
- Ability to act professional, even when provoked. You'd be surprised how malicious people can be with lies after a bad experience on the forum (being banned, etc.).
Most of these are just preferable traits and not required, so everyone can apply.
Also, we're looking for Moderators of specific forums. Overseeing Disneyland, Chit Chat, Games, etc. If you have an area of expertise and are interested in moderating that area of the forum, just let us know. It will be on a short trial basis to see if you're a good fit.
