Post counts?

Hi there - I'm new to the site and I just started collecting the Vinylmations on my last Disneyland trip and am so excited to get started trading! However, when I try to access the trading forum, it says my post count isn't high enough? I thought I'd try posting in the Welcome section for awhile but those don't seem to up my count at all. I'm not trying to avoid getting my posts up, just trying to find the appropriate way to do it. Thanks guys!

Welcome to VN!
Just look around the different threads in the site and contribute to the ones you like with some meaningful posts.
There are lots of other threads about the vinyl releases and loads of Disney stuff in general. Just look around and post where you like
If we do see meaningless posts just to up post count we have to delete them, just FYI.

certain threads dont add to your post count, ie: the games thread at the bottom of the forum.

Trading threads do not add to post count.
I think Sledge's idea behind meaningful posts and this whole site in general, is so that discussions about Vinylmation are made, not just to have this site be about trading.

Gotta say its so awesome to see a new member here trying to raise their post count appropriatly instead of just spamming the threads, I really gotta commend you for going about posting the right way. And welcome to the group!!!

Don't worry that's how we all start off as. I think the more you read and the more you get involved it will become alot easier for you.

Mine is stuck at one! Just ONE! lol I have posted a good 10+ times I am sure but getting past 1 seems to not be happening! HAHA~

Yeah, I was wondering about this. Thought maybe I missed something in the forum rules. When I view my profile and look at my posts, I have 9. My post count only says 5 though.

its because your posts do not count when they are in the trading, welcome or customs threads. Possibly other threads as well. So the posts you put in those areas do not count towards your post counts. Hope that helps.
