The neon looks absolutely fantastic!! My next trip to DLR is planned for early July so I can't wait to see all of this in person.

Not sure if anyone saw this but there is a sweepstakes going on for a sneak preview of the newly expanded DCA for June 11 if you are an annual passholder

I have a pass and I don't plan on going for YEARS after its open. The lines are going to be crazy for ever.
I am excited to go to Cars Land with the kids they are so pumped. I am excited for some new food hopefully it is better quality than what is offered in the parks.
A bunch of my friends and I entered and all of us were sent emails saying that we weren't chosen. I did see that AP could buy tickets to go into Carsland, Buena Vista area, and into the Carthay Theatre and check it out, plus ride the new rides! I wonder if they changed their mind on the sweepstakes and switched over to the purchase mode instead?![]()

i was planning to go back to Disneyland this summer just for this but it's a little out of my range for now. maybe next year. i hope to see lots of pics once it officially opens.
Cool new 'Drive through Cars Land' video, looks great!

A coworker was telling me at lunch that she went to a preview this past weekend and it was really neat! I am so excited for it to open!!!![]()

they really should add a cars land to hollywood studios now!
Is it just me or does Raditor Springs lack that thrill that was expected?

I agree with disneyobsesssed808! It isn't about the thrill it's about the environment you're thrown into. I was simply in awe of the ride, the technology and how you are a part of the story. I rode it again this weekend and my sister told me to be quiet because I was a little too excited![]()
There could definitely be more "thrill" but I think the balance is perfect. The hills is enough thrill for my sister who doesn't like rollercoasters and everyone in our party is happy.
I haven't been to Cars Land just yet, but my husband and I will be making a six-month wedding anniversary trip in NovemberWe're really looking forward to experiencing Cars Land! All of the photos look amazing. Disney/Pixar never disappoint!
Well I agree with that. It's just when advertising it they made it seem like a fast thrilling ride. When I went on it for the first time I didn't even realize that there was going to be the animatronics. Just wasn't what I expected. But definitely beautiful, I just suppose I'm not a huge Cars fan to fully appreciate it.
This is EXACTLY what I was thinking last night. I guess I'm just being biased. I don't like Cars. But I wasn't expecting much. I like how Route 66 looked. I went in just expecting mediocre but I really enjoyed the Race, it was my favorite! We waited in line for about an hour and 30 minutes. They concluded the FastPass tickets at 9am. That was fast! I would only go again if I had a FastPass or the line was shorter. Edit. FastPass Machine is on the right of the Bug's Land Entrance.

Just had to share some pics of Cars Land decked out for the holidays that were featured on another blog.
*Edited. I removed the images since they were advertising another site.
Cars Land seems to be much more immersive than the Pixar land in Paris, and it's anything but average. It is probably the BEST themed land in almost any Disney park with maybe the exception of Tokyo Disney Sea. The details of everything are so impressive, the attractions are awesome (Mater's and Radiator Springs Racers are two of my favorites in DCA). And I am not even someone who liked the Cars movies.
