Going on a disney cruise with the family this summer. Couldn't be anymore excited!!!
can anyone give more info about the disney Dream cruise? Thanks
What would you like to know, we went on the Inaugural last year and another one. The ship is amazing and even though the Magic and Wonder are the original. The Dream was
a great change that was needed.
If you go to disneycruiseline.com you can pull up all the details. You can PM anytime.
Worth Going!

I'm just looking for general feedback of that cruise. The overall price compare to other cruises (wonder/magic), activities, kids interaction/fun stuff. Planning for the first cruise experience for the kids. So just wondering which one should we take. Thanks for the help though!
Not sure if you meant the Dream specifically or Disney Cruise Line...but DCL is amazing. If you love Disney you will love this cruise. I have heard nothing but bad things about other cruise lines. The main difference is that Disney is more family oriented and also there is no casino on any Disney ship. Adults WILL have a ton of fun on Disney ships though and the kids are always doing their own thing..but it's nice because everyone always meets back up for dinner or sees each other around the ship throughout the day.
I have been on 8 Disney cruises with 2 more planned. I have been on on the Dream once. It was great. It is just like the ships we already loved but bigger and better. I have no complaints..perfect execution. It will be hard to go back to any of the older ships now. I'm not sure about the pricing but that's easy to look up..I don't think the dream should be much pricier than an equivalent cruise on the magic or wonder. I think all of the ships give you the same overall experience. Obviously the Dream and now the Fantasy have improved upon the Magic and Wonder (built in 98 and 99, respectively) the technology is bigger and better. The kids will really love all of the new stuff on the new ships. But honestly you can't go wrong with the magic or wonder either. If you have the choice though..the new ships are spectacular. The kids will also love the water coaster (aquaduck).

So DCL decided not to continue their Mexican Rivera cruises after 2012. Anyone know why?
I don't think it's anything against that specific cruise. I would just assume it's because they are doing other things with the ships. There are so many new home ports now and only 4 ships. The Magic is also going back to Europe in 2013. The plan is most likely to keep the Dream and Fantasy in Florida for the next couple of years before they go anywhere. Once more ships are built it should be less crazy with all the moving of ships.
Magic to Europe I meant..my fault.
