Karate Kid ..remake?

Once in a while, I'll read stuff in IMDB. I came across that there will be a new Karate Kid movie coming out. Apparently, Will Smith's son and Jackie Chan will be in the movie.

I don't know if it will surpass the original trilogy with Pat Morita and Ralph Macchio and the Next Karate Kid with Hilary Swank.
IMO, it's not the same without Mr. Miyagi

Here's the storyline:
Young Dre Parker (Smith) moves to China with his mother (Henson), where cultural differences make it hard for the once-popular kid to adjust to his new life. Falling for a schoolmate makes him an enemy of the class bully, Cheng, a kung-fu disciple. Coming to Dre's aid is his building's handyman, Mr. Han (Chan), who teaches the youngster the principles of kung fu.

Yep, they had a trailer for it before Percey Jackson when I went to see it on Valentine's Day.

.....think I'll skip it. Let me know when Hollywood gets some original ideas again.
