    Disney Podcasts

If any of you are like me and really enjoy the various Disney-related podcasts out there to ease the "pain" of not living near the parks, which ones do you listen to or watch on a regular basis?

For me, I listen to the following weekly:
    Inside the Magic
    WDW Radio
    All About the Mouse
    Window to the Magic

Those are the 4 I listen to regularly as my iPhone allows me to listen while i work. So I'm catching up on some of these.

I love Disney Podcasts as well... though I am very behind on them, I subscribe to these:

    Inside the Magic
    WDW Radio
    DIS Unplugged
    Extinct Attractions
    Netcot
    Meandering Mouse
    Mousetalgia!
    MuppetCast & Henson.com Podcast

And just recently found The Big D Podcast, they have a good amount of vids from the parks there as well.

Now you are making me want to plug in and listen. I am in desperate need of a Disney fix

How do the DIS Unpluged and Extinct Attractions podcasts compare to the professional sounding ones like WDW Radio and ITM.

Well, I haven't listened to it much but DIS Unplugged is mostly a discussion type one, seems like there are a lot of people on it usually, that can get to be a bit much. I really don't prefer any more than 3 people in any give podcast, but that's just me.
Extinct Attractions, I really like. Mostly because they... duh... talk about old attractions. They include other discussions as well, but it's nice for nostalgia.
The hosts are pretty good too.

    Mouse Guest Weekly
    The Muppet Cast

...and a bunch of others that aren't Disney related.

I like to play mine at work when I'm writing scripts or working on graphics (basically anything that doesn't require me to pay attention to audio). That along with my Spaceship Earth desktop wallpaper is the closest I can get to WDW in a regular basis...

I only listen to the DIS Unplugged, but lately, it's been getting on my nerves - mainly for the reason that Peaches outlined - there's waaay too many people talking. Also, the main person on the Podcast - Pete Warner goes off on tangents sometimes, that end up too long, and mainly about stuff that he doesn't always know the full story about.

Yeah I just don't see why 6 people need to be on a podcast, it just gets too confusing and then people talk over each other. Ugh.

I listen to Inside the Magic and WDW Radio when I going running. I have listened to others every now and then but these two are my favorite. The Big D is my favorite for videos. I also don't like too many people talking on podcasts which is why I stopped listening to many others.

I listen to (and co-host) an avalanche of podcasts and podcast novels every week. I've only got two Disney-related shows in my regular rotation, though: Inside the Magic and The Muppetcast.

If you guys want more HD video podcasts, check out these 2:
A Window to the Magic: Videocast (high definition)
    Mouse Magic HD (Apple TV)

Those are how the names appear in iTunes.

I just started listening to the DisneyBrit podcast. It's not the most exicting podcast I listen to, but it's got some really great content from Disneyland Paris....

.....plus it's got British male co-hosts....love me some British accents... that alone makes it awesome!

Good decision. What I like about that show is that it's park sounds. Nothing more. Simple yet so enjoyable.

I only have time to listen to one - Inside the Magic. It is the best by far! I have been listening to it since the very beginning, and am amazed at how Ricky B. produces such a high quality podcast every single sunday without fail. I don't believe he has missed a a week in almost five years. I have listened to Window to the Magic in the past, which also was also very well done.

I listen to many Disney (and non-Disney) podcasts and ITM has the absolute best production quality. Nothing against any of the other ones I listen to, they're all good or else I wouldn't listen; but it's obvious Ricky puts a lot of time and thought into production. It seems that he is one of the few who actually fixes audio levels. Some podcasts I listen to blow my ears out if a host or guest laughs or gets into a really passionate discussion about something because their audio levels become over-modulated. And there's also those who have a guest on and don't bring up the levels causing me to strain to hear them or turn my vol up to hear them and eventually getting blown away when they return to their regular hosting.

It all comes down to the equipment. Ricky, obviously, has a really good setup and takes advantage of it. But that kind of equipment is expensive. A lot of podcasters have to make do with equipment that isn't quite as good. And then they have to reformat their hard drives and they lose the microphone settings that took them TWO YEARS to finally get just right and it makes them want to rip their HAIR OUT!

Ahem. Not that I would know anything about that.
