I'm a fan of both but I love the books. I always end up rereading them when a new movie comes out.... I don't have a favorite book but my favorite characters are Ron and Snape...

Love the books and movies! I love the books more because there is just so much they left out of the movies! I admit it, I even listen to the Mugglecast Podcast.

sakiizee will become famous soon enough
I read the first book, and I saw the last movie that came out.
I like it, I just feel like I'm SOOOO behind, that I will never catch up.
My list of books to read is growing, and throwing another series in there would be a killer!!

If you have to commute to work then I strongly recommend getting the Harry Potter audiobooks read by Jim Dale. He's fantastic, he's British and he does voices for ALL of the characters. If you've got a commute of any decent length you can work your way through the books pretty quick that way. I read all of the books twice and listened to the entire audiobook series too. Buying them is a little expensive but you can get them from the library too. Off hand I think they also have it on iTunes, the benefit of audiobooks on ipods/iphones is that it breaks it down by chapters and remembers where you left off.

ESPECIALLY since the second book was the worst of the series (IMO). Don't get me wrong, I liked the book, but out of the seven, it's my least favorite. You sooooo need to go read the other ones!!!! There is so much left out of the movies: characters, events, plot holes!!!!! READ THE BOOKS!!!! They're awesome!

I cant completely agree on book two being the worst since the Heir of Slytherin scene is my fave scene (mostly because of the movie and considering movie 1&2 are the closest adaptions of the series I can get away with saying that )

Yea, even if you cant read them per se, borrow the books on tape from the library or something. Because even the books on tape are amazing ( Jim Dale)

I don't know what it was about book 2, but for some reason it took me the longest to get through.....maybe it was the hugh snake thing, I have a life-long phobia of snakes. IDK, but like I said it was a good book, just not my fav. I think PoA and DH (minus the epilogue) were my favorites.

Huge fan of both the books & movies- I miss the excitement of a new HP book being released
My favorite in the series is Goblet of Fire. I've probably read it about 11 or so times now.
