Wow. I am amazed at all the things people collect. I have collected various things over the years. Like Ashton Drake wedding dolls, beanie babies and Barbies. But I am out of room and they are all in storage now. I do get my daughter the holiday barbie every year. And I have a couple hundred Barbies packed away that I will give her when I know she wont be tempted to open the boxes. But there is nothing I have collected as passionately as the Vinylmations. I think thats because the Vinylmations are so affordable. I am very glad I got addicted to these. I am so happy when I open that brand new case and see all those beautiful boxes neatly lined up in a row!! Knowing that hidden inside is this adorable little character just waiting to come out!! : )
I collect Board Games and Comics

I've collected many different things over the years. I collected comic books for a long time but haven't in a few years. Used to collect disney pins. I've got a few coins. Right now its mostly Blu-rays & Vinylmation.
Also used to collect action figures. I have quite a few star wars figures.

Oh man, here we go...

-Medicom Kubricks/Be@rbricks
-Keshigomu - Japanese eraser toys
-Japanese super hero DVD sets
-vintage Universal monster toys - mostly 60s - 80s
-advertising character toys
-Funko bobbleheads
-Haunted Mansion stuff
-Viewmaster reels
-Travel brochures - primarily theme parks and tourist trap places, no national parks or anything like that
-Theme park maps, especially Disney
-horror/sci-fi/cult films - I have about 1000 films on DVD/Blu Ray/VHS
-Disney pins
I'm sure there's more that I'm just forgetting right now. I'm always getting interested in new stuff.

How cool, I remember the viewmasters
I think I may even have one in a drawer here somewhere.
I collect (or have collected) many things, but right now I'm focusing on Disney DVDs, with still some interest in other animated DVDs such as 2D Dreamworks! First priority - completing the Platinum Collection of Disney classics. There are still so many I can't find with their cardboard slipcovers included. :/
Neat thread idea! I've dabbled in a lot of collections over the years, starting with Barbies, stamps, and coins when I was little. My major collections are:
Baseballs (logo balls, autographed balls, and official game balls). Most are Atlanta Braves or their minor league affiliates' baseballs. Own a few Disney ones too.
Braves baseball cards
Braves shirts and jackets (official jerseys, official team jackets, t-shirts, etc.)
Braves hats (MLB and minor league affiliates)
Braves magazines and articles
Braves figures and/or bobbleheads
Braves pins
Baseball books
Baseball game tickets
Baseball game programs
Baseball resin stadium replicas
CDs (probably well over 600)
DVDs (tons of Disney)
Original American Girl dolls and clothes
Beanie Baby bears
Stuffed animals in general (95% of them are ones I was given or bought until age 20 or so; still love them, but ran out of room!)
Large Disney Snowglobes
Small Disney Snowglobes
WDCC pieces
Lenox Disney pieces
Jim Shore Disney pieces
Disney jewelry (particularly rings) and watches
Disney purses
Almost anything Donald Duck related
Small Disney plushes
Disney Christmas ornaments (mostly Hallmark; some from the parks, some from DisneyStore.com)
Disney pins
Disney-NASCAR items, particularly the Daytona 500 diecast cars they used to make annually that featured different characters
WDW pressed pennies
WDW maps
WDW napkins (no joke!)
WDW parking passes from each trip
WDW park tickets/room keys
WDW shopping bags and receipts (so I can look back and see what I bought each trip, and what type of bag was used years later)
MGM/DHS Animation Gallery cels from their Ink and Paint line (very small collection; only own 3 since they're so expensive)
As you can see, most of my stuff is either baseball or Disney related. Odd combo, but that's me!
Vinylmation is my newest collecting hobby, actually. Started in May 2009 on my last WDW trip. Last day there was when Park 2 was released. All the other collections were started many years ago, save for the animation cels. I want to get into the WDW Monorail collection, but realize that'll be very expensive since most of it is retired now.
Wow, it's so great to see someone else say that they keep all of this stuff! Sometimes when I'm loading all of this stuff carefully into my bag/suitcase to take home I feel like I must be a little crazy.
I also keep the maps from all the resort hotels I say in, times guides, etc. Pretty much anything that can be saved.
