Disney pins, glass Disney figurines, DVDs (over 600 - hope they aren't discontinued soon), pressed pennies & my partner collects dolls. We are thinking of adding salt/pepper shakers but maybe we should get a 2nd house to store everything in first~!

BTW, we have over 2700 pins. Gonna have to get a rider on our house insurance to cover them and the vinyls...and we do collect musical instruments...lol...

It is terrible when your "allowance" covers about anything small you want to get.

What's the last one you got?

I get them from my Aunt every year. This year she asked where the box was (it was still wrapped). I had put it on the ground behind the table and went "Oh, you mean the holiday barbie?"

I forgot about that! I have a small collection that I started the last time I was at Disney. I think I may add to it on this up-coming trip. I'd really like to get the Vintage DLR one that comes in the hat box. I think it would awesome next to my HM 40th set.

Heck if I know. Probably 2002. They're all still in their boxes at my parents' house sitting in my mom's closet.

My favorite things are the old things from the earliest years of the company, when Walt was still running the planning. I also share my husbands love of anything from the earliest years of the American parks, especially souvy items.

We don't collect much of the old stuff anymore and there is rarely anything new we want to add to our display cabinets. Except...

VinylGina will become famous soon enough
I never really thought about listing it out, but here goes...
    -VMs of course.
-Anything Muppets, thats my biggest collection.
-I tried anything Ewok, but a lot of it is ugly, so now just the fun Ewok stuff
-Miniature glass bottles of booze, the ones that look identical to the large ones, Ive got a whole mini bar next to the ewoks. they have a lot of fun.
-Fun little toys of characters you dont really see toys of i.e. Pooky from Garfield, Lady Penelope from Thunderbirds, Baby Pegasus from Hercules.
-Some Toy Story toys, again this was a collection I had to limit to just the cute toys.
-Some Back to the Future memorabilia.
-DVDs, Blu-rays, and VHS. This collection is out of control and takes up a majority of my game room.
-OPI Nail Polishes, I know it sounds weird, but they have collections and LEs and it makes you want to collect them all.
-I never meant to collect Movie Posters but I currently have 10 signed by cast movie posters hanging in my room and several under my bed. People ask where I got them, I can't honestly answer, I just end up with them after things like Comic Con

I used to collect Disney Pins (actually still my collection of Hercules Pins if they ever came out with more), some trading cards (VMK cards also), comic books, and my personal favorite retired collection was POGS, loved them! My sister has an insane Beanie Baby collection that was swallowing the house until we put them all in storage.
I also have a lot of Disney stuff from back in the day like the Indiana Jones decipher card, those Gold 50th anniversary mickey ears they gave out, stuff from the Pirates of the Caribbean premieres, or the old pamphlet of Scarols from Haunted Mansion Holiday. But I don't really consider those a collection since I want to get rid of them, they just take up space in storage Id rather save shelf space to appreciate my VMs
