I loved Communicore. All the cutting edge technology, it was amazing. All the hands on stuff that your couldn't find anywhere else. It was just amazing. the early 80's at Epcot was awesome. I think 25% of Communicore was the computer system that ran the park if i remember correctly. I just remember being amazed at where the future was headed.

Does anyone remember the population counter that was in communicore? it had these little people that went around in a large ring and just kept adding more people to the world count. Oh the memories.

Not an attraction but my favorite thing to do at EPCOT was watch the Masquerade at Italy. I just loved it. When I visited the first time after they discontinued it I was really sad. Probably in my top 5 things to do at WDW and they stopped it. Very sad indeed. I still play the Masquerade music on every trip we make to WDW to remember the show.

I have fond memories of Disney animatronics, especially at Epcot, with the old Journey into Imagination ride and the Horizons ride. Thankfully, there's a little bit of that left with Journey into Imagination currently - especially the end sequence ("imagination is a blast!" followed by a plethora of Figments!) as well as with Spaceship Earth. I get a little animatronics fix with Carousel of Progress at MK, too.

I also like the art style of Horizons/World of Motion/SpaceshipEarth/Wedway People Mover: those forward-looking 80's future themes that seem outdated today. It's a futuristic nostalgia feeling that Disney really brought back in the day. I think a "Future Nostalgia" land - a place for defunct Disney rides (dark rides, animatronics etc.), - would make a great spin-off at Disney World. With Snow White's Scary Adventures soon going the way of the dodo, it'd be a great way to reconstruct some old memories. I'd pay for that.

They changed it back to Captain Eo after Michael Jackson died. I'm ready for Captain Eo to die again, too, but with all the merchandising they've done around it, I'd say it's going to be around for a while.

I'd welcome a change back to Honey, I Shrunk the Audience, but I doubt we'll get one. Do people even remember that franchise?

I'd have to think that no one remembers the franchise, but Honey, I Shrunk the Audience was great!

I love all of EPCOT. It is my favorite park, so it is really hard to choose which extinct attraction I will miss the most. I miss them all, some more than others...I loved The Living Seas and, I hate to say it, but I hate Nemo so much!
I guess though I really just want Journey Into Imagination to come back in all of its glory...I mean as much as I like Eric Idle and think he is a comic genius, it is almost like he murdered the Dreamfinder...I miss the Dreamfinder.
