    Favorite WDW DTD Restaurant

Saw someone post a poll for the DTD restaurants at Disneyland so I figured I'd make one for WDW.

I voted Ragland Road. It's the one place that is an absolute "must" for myself and my husband when we're down in WDW. The atmosphere is great and there always seems to be some type of live entertainment going on weather it's a traditional Irish band or an Irish dancer, it's always entertaining. I've enjoyed everything I've tried there and the desserts are The chef released a cook book not too long ago. I've been wanting to get it. LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!

2 - Earl of Sandwich (which wasn't an option_, but my husband and I love their Hawaiian sandwiches and try to make our own versions here at home.

3- T-Rex: really good tomato-basil soup and I LOVE their Cotton-tinis (martinis with cotton candy in them ) My only complaint is that it's a little pricey and we had way too much food.

    Now, I'm hungry.

I actually voted for Rainforest Cafe because its gotten so much better over the years since I've been eating there. Plus I just love the atmosphere.

Planet Hollywood and Paradiso 37 would be at the bottom of my list. PH is just yuck and Paradiso 37 was okay at best. I had the enchiladas and they weren't any better than the ones at Don Pablo's or Abuelo's.

We ate at House of Blues a couple of weeks ago and that was actually very good. I'm not usually big on barbeque but I've had a huge craving for it ever since we went there.

Eww I hate Rainforest! I love the atmosphere, but every time we go there we end up disappointed with our food. I picks T-Rex cause the atmosphere is cool and our food was actually so much better than I had expected. I saw those Cotton-tinis HT and they looked yum.
I have been wanting to try Raglan Road, I have only passed by it and gone into the store. I am half Irish so I adore the theme. Makes me want to take my dad there, we love Irish pubs.
Bongo's was okay. Cuban is probably one of my favorite foods, but it just seemed like they chinsed on the food. I have had waaaay better, and cheaper, Cuban in my local places here.
Planet Hollywood was not very good when I tried it and I have never had anything from the other places. Earl of Sandwich is one of my favs down there as well. The mozzarella tomato and basil sandwich... yum!
Yeah I am starving now too.

I've never been to Rainforest or the other places. I don't think I've ever been to House of Blues in DTD, but I'm sure the menu must be the same as the one out here in the city. I like the food there, but it's something I can get at home.

This might be a dumb question, but what is Cap'n Jacks and does it have anything to do with POTC?

I went for Rainforest Cafe, although the last time I went there I was a mess and I feel sorry for the poor girl who served me! We'd just landed, checked in and made it over to DTD for food. It was about 8pm FL time and with the flight over I'd been awake for 20 hours....I'm a zombie if I'm sleep deprived. She asked if I wanted another drink and I told her "yes, can I have the bill please"

T-rex was nice, but the wait was awful. I'm a big fan of the Raglan Road fish and chips, reminds me of home

Its a seafood restaurant near the boat dock on the Village side, and no its not related to PotC. It was there long before that movie came out

I really want to try Raglan Road because it always smells good when I walk by... like a fried fish smell.

I guess I had the image of that episode on Full House in my head where they went to that pirate-themed restaurant and all ended up walking the plank for not finishing their food.

I love RR! They have a really good Steak! I also like their fish and chips and their split-pea soup. I think next time I go, though I'm going to try their shepards' pie. The guys sitting next to us last time got it and it looked really good. And did I mention the desserts?????

I've eaten at most of these places and enjoyed most of them, however I think House of Blues has to be my favorite just for the atmosphere.

I picked Wolf Gang Puck because that is really the only restaurant I have ever had eaten at there..I usually am eating somewhere in Epcot or if I am at DTD, I am grabbing something fast..by far my favorite place though there is Earl of Sandwich..when I was there for a week in Nov. I picked up a sandwich almost every day and would take it with me for my lunch inside the parks

That's a pretty good idea. I'd never thought about that. It'd certainly be better than picking up quick-service food. I may have to borrow your idea.

I've only ever eaten at the Wolfgang Puck Express at our DTD. One day I'd like to try the restaurant though. The Express food is pretty good.

Yes I have. Multiple times. I dont like anything on my sandwich except the bread and the meat, so to pay $5 for a naked sandwich is pretty ridiculous for me.

House of Blues has a really good pulled pork sandwich. Not being a fan of bbq I'd definitely still go back there.

I want to eat at Fultons but its pricey, plus Sledge hates seafood.

Eat mostly at the Earl of Sandwich, love the tuna melt. We went to Portobello once and loved it, a little pricey but well worth it , so it's like a special night out. Raglan Road has the best tarter sauce I've ever eaten so I get the fish with my sauce. I would like to try there shephard pin sometime too. Have to say Planet Hollywood has very good baby back ribs but not much else.

Just wanted to let you know I'm not ignoring your question. I really don't have a good sense of direction, so I'm probably the last person you'd want telling you how to get there. I think......think it's near the Ghiradelli shop, but I definitely be wrong.
