We ate at tortilla's joe once and the food was awful, I wouldn't bother to eat there again. Also the cafe at California Adventure by the pool area is really good. Freshly made hamburgers to order. For the price and quality you can beat it.
Steak 55 at the DL Hotel. The Mac N Cheese is fantastic.
Brennan's Jazz Kitchen is always a family pleaser ! Great food, great service and conveniently located to the monorail to take you back into the park!
great to read the reviews....going to disneyland in august =)
Catal is probably the best, but also the most expensive. I'm not sure I'd pick it over Steakhouse 55 or either Grand Californian restaurant, but among DTD restaurants it is the best. Nice place for breakfast too.
My short review of the other restaurants:
Tortilla Jo's - Kind of like El Torito. Not authentic at all. I hear the service is bad. I've only ever eaten at the bar.
Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen - I like the express window more than the restaurant. The sandwiches (also available in the restaurant during lunch) are very good. I think I can make better gumbo and jambalaya.
Rainforest Cafe - I have never eaten at the DTD location. I have eaten a few times at others and it has been OK, but not great. I'm scared of snakes and so I avoid the place.
Naples Ristorante e Pizzeria - Have never eaten here.
La Brea Bakery - OK, but way too expensive for what you get. The food is Corner Bakery or Panera quality for almost twice the price.
House of Blues - Have only been to concerts.
ESPN Zone - The ribs are the only thing worth getting. They are probably some of the best I've ever had. Everything else is mediocre.
For a big sports fan such as myself, it's a no-brainer...ESPN Zone is the best. Food isn't spectacular, but it isn't bad and the games are always on.
None of the above... it's the caramel kettecorn that's enough for a meal!

I like the Rainforest Cafe.
Napolini's if the pizza is just baked and hot, have had the same experience at Trader Jo's-- it always looks so good when you walk by but is never very good when you eat there. We also like Wetzel's Pretzels followed by Haagen Dazs for dessert.

I'm not really a big fan of the food in DTD. There's better food in the parks or hotels or even off-site IMO. If I had to choose, I kind of like Naples because I'm a pasta fiend.
the best ever restaurant is the Ghiradelli chocolate place... Its AWESOME
