I was really lucky with this set. Just happened to come out while I was holidaying at WDW. We saw a truck pull in to the Outfitters shop at Animal Kingdom and figured they had Wall-E and Eve on board - and just waited until they were unpacked. Even more lucky was we got to go to a signing at Downtown Disney that same week and the Wall-E and Eve artist was there and signed them for me - must be worth a fortune now - wish I had got extra sets!!!!

Wanted it, but didn't get it. Was turned off by the whole release fiasco.. I didn't even bother trying to get a set.
I have a set and the card inside is signed by the artist. Anyone know approximately how many were signed by the artist, like I said its just the mini card thats signed.
Thanks,
Bruce
I really wanted this set, but it's definitely too rich for my blood. I can always hope to obtain this set, but the price would definitely have to drop and unfortunately, I don't see that happening any time soon. I just love it for the design and the characters. Oh well.
I got the set as a gift from my boss for Christmas 2010. Didn't see "Received as gift" as an option. I don't know how she got it or how much she paid for it all I know I was shocked she knew I wanted it! Eve and Wall-E are sitting safely out of their box in an clear case just for them.
I am still curious if anyone knows approximately how many Eve-Wall E sets were signed. As said before I have the insert artist card signed by the artist.
There's probably no way for anyone to know that for sure. Since the artist (I'm assuming) is still alive then theoretically they can still continually be signed.
I actually bothered to look now..artist is Maria Clapsis. She is still very active in Vinylmation and does signings I believe so it really could be obtained easily if one wanted it.
