These sets aside from the ones with Mickey, Donald and Chernabog are destined for the clearance bin. I don't think there is much of a market for expensive high edition size combo packs of obscure characters. Its a great concept better suited for a mystery set of 12, but its great for those who like Fantasia.

I wish this was a blind box series instead of a combo. Invariably I usually only like one out of a set.
Those look really good. cant wait to get my hands on some!!

You really think the demand is going to be there? I won't be in WDW until the 22nd, so I was hoping to pick it up then, but now I'm concerned and can't decide if I should have someone try and get it for me?
I feel you. I really only like one out of each box. It would have been a really cool blind box series.

I'm new around here and am finding myself addicted to Vinylmation. This is by far the best set I have seen, and I am a huge fan of Yensid and Sorcerer Mickey so I absolutely MUST have this! I am only a couple hours away from WDW and am definitely going to make a trip for this set. My question is for you that have experience with new LE releases at D-Street. I would like to make a day of my trip and bring my Fiancé so that we can visit the parks after picking up the set. Problem is, she is a Teacher and obviously has to work on Friday. She is able to take a 1/2 day and leave at 11:05am which would have us departing for WDW around 11:30am and arriving at approximately 1:30pm. So my question is, can I wait until 11:30am to leave or do I need to be there right when they open to guarantee availability? Basically, for those with experience, how many LE items do they normally have when releasing them and what time does D-Street usually open? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Given this is a LE2,000 it is pretty hard to tell, but you should be OK getting there at 1.30pm.
2,000 means that there will be 1,000 at each of the two D-Streets and one would be surprised for 1,000 to sell out within 3 or 4 hours on the assumption that D-Street will open at either 9am or 10am.
Previous LE releases have sold out quicker than that but those were LE1000's or LE500's.

Thanks! I wasn't sure if when its an LE if they sent all of the edition to the stores. I doubt they would sell out of 1000 before 1:30pm too, but if they only have 20 or so I would question it. So you're saying that they in fact do send all 1000 to D-Street and that they'll have them there?

Would love to get the Mickey from the 1st set. Really wish this would have been a mystery series!
