    Secrets of the Magic Kingdom

I'm going to Disney this Holiday season and I MUST MUST MUST find some insider secrets to experience. I went to WDW recently and am a HUGE Disney fan so know all about the big stuff. So what nooks and crannies should I explore that I might otherwise miss?

Also, this is my first thread! YAAAAY!

First secret - there is no Magic Kingdom in Disneyland. The two parks are Disneyland and California Adventure. If you meant for the Magic Kingdom at WDW, I can move the thread.

i dont know what kind of secrets you are looking for. ride related, food related, show related or activities? so i will give you one of each.

Ride Related: Best time to ride the rides in adventureland, frontierland, and critter country, is during and after the first showing of fantasmic. Not only will people be standing to watch Fantasmic right after its over the fireworks over teh castle go off. After these two shows, the park seems to empty.

Food related: Some places offer free refills on your coffee and soda, just ask while you are paying if they do or dont.

Show Related: Watch the second (or third if offered) showing of Fantasmic if you want to watch the show. Lot less people.

Other Activities: Phone apps have hidden mickey locations. A lot of these can be found while you are in line. Its just something to do to pass time. There is also a book with majority of the locations listed in it. While they dont say exactly where each is, they give you pretty good hints.

Lastly, since you are going during the holiday season, good luck. be prepared to do 1/3 of anything you have planned out as the crowds are crazy and they have been filling the park to capacity each of the past couple of years. usually thanksgiving day, christmas day, and the day after new years are the best days to visit in terms of crowd levels.

As an annual passholder, we always hit Fantasy Land as fast and as early as possible. Then head over to It's a Small World. We then head to Adventure Land and hit Pirates, the Haunted House and Pooh. Usual by the time we are done at Pooh, the park is pretty filled up and the lines are huge. At that point it's 50/50 on if we stay in DL or head over to California Adventure.
