    SotMK at Home Game...Need Help

Hey everyone! I just got back from Disney World this week and I found out about the Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom game there. After playing the first day I was hooked! I just love how the cards look, the whole design of them are brilliant. The game itself is awesome too. I dragged my poor wife around for 14 or so hours beating the game numerous times in a few days to get more cards. I actually only need 10 cards but now I am home in NJ and I am still dying to play! So I have decided to try and figure out a way to play at home. I have been thinking of ideas to work the cards into a board game. Kind of like a Magic the Gathering type game. So far I've added more villains to more locations but I am having trouble with the board layout and how the game would work exactly. Anyone that would like to help is more than welcome to share their ideas!

Is there anyone like me who fell in love with this game as well and wants a way to play it at home in a cool way?

I wish there were a way to play at home too. I got hooked in May. I managed to get 1-60 in the week I was there. I'm going back in July for 1 night before our cruise and I'm seriously thinking of buying admission to the park just to play for 1 night. I miss playing it and I had such a fun time playing until 2 AM one night meeting a lot of people, etc. Anyway I'm sure there is a way to play at home if you really sit there and think about it but I think it would require more trouble than it's worth and it would never be as fun as playing at the parks. BUT I do think that Disney should make it an online game as well. You could just play for fun online the same way you do at the parks. All you would need is a webcam and it would work just the same as the game does in the park. I know they wont do it unless there was a way for them to make money off of it so it probably wont happen just because there's no reason for them to.
I guess it would get boring playing too much anyway. Most of the fun I had when I played was acquiring the set and meeting people trading. Until more cards come out then I think I'm glad I have fond memories of it and look forward to playing it again soon.

I could see them marketing something for Wii or Xbox or tablets, but I completely agree that it might lose too much in taking out the human element. Personally, I don't even pay much attention to the cut scenes anymore; they all got old after the third and fourth go-round. The intro scenes are especially grating, followed by anything involving that nails-on-a-chalkboard Mama Odie voice. :shudder:
