I've actually been kind of hoping a series would come out like this (and then assumed it wouldn't because of the juniors!) so I'm pretty pleased! There's a big trend going on in the graphic design community right now with really simplified characters, and I'm very excited to see Disney do a larger take on this. Though I do agree with a lot of you and I wish some other characters were appearing (Genie, hello!) there's nothing to say this isn't the first wave and the others won't be close behind!

I guess that would be too simplified, like with a Pluto one?

I have to agree with most everyone else that these are just the Jr's, but in 3" form. It was a little underwhelming to see the released pics. That being said, I will still be buying Nemo, even though I think $12.95 is a little steep

I got Minnie & Cinderella Jrs. from a friend, but I like them on the 3" mold! I'm picturing them as good kitchen or table accents, too. I do agree I would like some more/new designs.

    Collecting since September 2010

Echoing a few others, my first thought: where's Figment? I still think they have to be releasing more than just the eight pictured, maybe I'm just in denial, though. I agree with BrittLee, it would be nice if the series is like D Tour, where they order more of the popular designs, don't reorder unpopular designs, and add more designs every few months.

I don't know how I feel too much about this series it's almost like they are too plain to be a hot ticket item yet they simpleness of it is what attracts myself towards these vinyls. I guess once they come out we will see how it all goes.

Oh, don't get me wrong - I Jr 2 and have from day one. It's neck and neck with Jr 4 for me as the best of the smaller size. I'll probably wind up with a Nemo, maybe even a Goofy and a Donald in 3" form, but why include Minnie and Woody (two of the weaker designs, in my opinion) over say Figment, who at one point was more sought than the chasers, and Pooh or Bambi and Tigger?

I guess that's what we have to hope for. Because I'd need Figment. And Pluto. And Bambi. ... And the chasers. Maybe Pooh and Tigger. But then I draw the line!

Interesting that they're the exact same as the juniors. I might have to get the Nemo one though since I wasn't able to get the jr of that and I love Finding Nemo! It would've been cool if there were different characters. Totally agree with those who think Figment should be a part of this set...that's another junior I didn't get. LOL. Figment is awesome!

It's why I could never work on the VM team. I'd send the artists back to their desks until they brought me at least one Figment for every series. AiW? Figment with pink and purple stripes. Villains? Gangster Figment. Cutesters? Ballerina Figment. Star Wars? Force Ghost Figment. A Figment for all occasions! (I ingly sigh at the thought ).

Squeeeeeee! I'm going to get Mickey and Cheshire! I agree with others that I think this is just the first wave. Don't worry, Phylers, I'm sure figment isn't too far behind!

I really like personally that they decided to make this junior series in 3 inch form. I really just can't commit to collecting juniors

    It's Jr's 2 all growed up

But seriously, I think this is one of those design copies that I'm fine with. I'm glad to see they added a new design with Mickey. I just would have preferred that they went with the Fab 5plus Daisy, Figment, Pooh or Tigger. Do we need another Cheshire, and Toy Story design at this point?

12.95 will spell Outlets for these current designs.

I think its lazy planning. But I still really like them. So I'll probably get the Donald one to go with my Jr. Series 2.

If these were originally made as 3" vinyls I might have been interested, but the fact that I know these are already Jr.s for some reason turns me off to them.
