What's the best "Good Neighbor" Hotel??

I was hoping some of you guys will give me a little advice, We stayed at the Marriott in 07. And since have been DVC so we go to WDW and it's Awesome, But I want to take just me and the wife to DLR and was wondering what is the best place to stay. And some sort of bus service to the park would be a huge plus. thanks!

Stupid question, but since your a DVC have you thought about booking a room at the Grand California Hotel?

I say the Hilton. Bus stop is right in front, Starbucks inside, nice rooms, good pool & spa area. Thats where I always stay.

We just got back from 2 weeks at WDW so we used our Points up and I want a small trip with just my wife.

There is 2 Good Neighbor Hotels I prefer. First one is Embassy. It's 1/2 mile from the parks, have their own bus station, great free breakfast, 15 floors, a very nice lobby and 1st floor, and more. My 2nd one is Staybridge Suites. I think it's personally better then Embassy, but Staybridge is like 2-3 miles from the parks. It's a pretty long way from the parks, but it's your choice. Do you want to stay close to the parks or farther?

Close but it's not that important, As long as they have some sort of bus/shuttle to the park. I don't want to have to deal with parking at the park. We stayed at the Marriott last time we went it was pretty nice, and close I remember.

Well, then it doesn't really matter at all. They both have a bus/shuttle service to the park. But, Staybridge is far away from DLR. It could be slower from getting to the park and back. I haven't been to Staybridge in a couple of years so maybe they added a extra bus so it could be faster. It's really up to you and your wife.

Most disboarders swear by HOJO. I have stayed there and it was quite awesome. The rooms were spacious and you can get pretty great discounts with an entertainment book. Probably my favorite is the Best Western Stovall's Inn on Katella and Disneyland Drive - it is a motel but it's a nice one, but it has a nice continental breakfast, and is a really close walk to the Californian.
