I think this is a really great idea! I'd love to see who else will be a part of the set, but for right now, I think Pluto's design is phenomenal.

A a cool idea I suppose and in the case of Pluto, a cute idea, but not at all interested in the series.

My guess is that it's named that way because they are supposed to resemble to design of classic school mascots. Hearing Mascot Series without seeing them would immediately make me think vinyls of famous sports mascots, though.

I've got to be honest, this one doesn't blow me away at all.. Pluto's head looks squashed up and angry...maybe its just me but he doesn't even look like pluto.
Maybe its because "mascots" don't really mean much to me, but going on this preview pic, it's not moving onto my wants list.
Obviously things might change when i see the rest of the series.

That's what I first thought! I'm strangely disappointed that it's not a series based on famous sports mascots. I would've loved to see a Phanatic vinyl

It seems to me that the characters are Mascots of their own teams. Hence the "P" on Plutos Sweater.

I like it. I don't know what it is about it, but the vinyl for some reason reminds me of the move Animal House. I can't place my finger on why, but that was my first thought when I saw it. Regardless, I like the Plutos expression and I'm eager to see what else they have planned for the rest of the series .

Oh and one of my Disney Stores mentioned this series when listing their upcoming releases. The cast member listed it after she listed Villains 3 so I think the release date will be in June.

This is exactly what it is!!!! I have that Donald Hoodie, it's one of my favorite pieces of Donald Clothing. I really hope that if the designs are based on thesem the hatst will be accesories

I completely agree!! I saw Mascot Series and thought - oooo a series based on team mascots too and actually thought we'd get to see a Phanatic vinyl which would've been amazing!!

But if the series is going to be based on the Varsity collection, it actually might end up being pretty cool. So far I'm liking what I'm seeing.

They are all pretty cool, but you know I'm partial to Donald I really like the whole "Instagram" type look they have
