In a way, I'm happy to wait for the 25th Anniversary case, I'll be saving more money with my premium pass, and getting the items legitimately without any concern for "where" these items came from, so it's all good!
Whether or not this is "innocent" we'll never know, and I guess we can assume either way!
But I agree, I don't think we'll be seeing anymore of these cases other than ebayers who are reselling their original purchases.

What are you basing your opinion, however? To me, the fishiness ended the day he shipped out over 50 cases of vinyls he said he had...completely in the face of plenty of naysayers.
His name and address were always visible for everyone to see. He remained in constant contact with those who messaged him throughout the shipping process.
Chances are these were accidentally sold, and he just happened to be at the right place at the right time. Perhaps Disney put a stop to it by offering to buy them back from him. Perhaps he oversold what he had. Perhaps, he's telling the truth and his storage locker was broken into. But a far larger percentage of people received their products, and the rest received a refund and an explanation.
He had them, he never tried to hide the fact that he had them, and he carried through on every promise with the initial shipments. Still can't understand why some have some strange vendetta out for this guy.

@Toad_Passenger: While I agree with the innocent until proven guilty comment, I can see why people would be questioning why cases of Vinylmations that aren't scheduled for release until May appear on ebay. (25th anniversary cases)
He was a very legitimate seller no doubt, and cases were shipped immediately to happy buyers, and he was very communicative and responsive with buyers, from what I've been reading.
I can also see why people would question the source of these items. I don't think anyone has a vendetta against the guy, but rather, people are trying to sort out in
their heads how something came on the marketplace, especially items that aren't available to the consumer through Disney.
It's more than likely legitimate, as I don't think someone would go public on a well known site like ebay, and take their chances with items if they were from a questionable source, but then again, people do crazy, bold stuff!
Either theory is 50/50, but I tend to give people the benefit of the doubt unless proven otherwise.![]()

You definitely missed some of the threads on other Vinyl sites, as well on various Facebook groups. I understand questioning and theorizing, but a lot of people were, and still are, going to quite the extremes about the seller and, in some cases, the buyers.
As to the 25th Anniverary pieces, we all know these were to be released in January, but had their release date moved several times. It would stand to reason that a lot of cases were shipped in order to be released in January. We obviously don't know the reason why these were pulled from the release schedule, but, it is possible that these initial cases were deemed unsaleable (defects, changed designs, etc.) and then may have ended up in a warehouse-type sale, whether on purpose or by accident.

We can go back and forth with this until we reach 1000 posts but let's not and say we did. We can agree to disagree but let's remember to always be cordial![]()

I really don't see any reason to keep up any debate. It seems as though the seller is finished and everyone either got what they purchased or were refunded. Now we can all just hope something like this happens again, and we can be in the right place at the right time when it does

@Toad: I didn't realize the extent of the backlash against the seller, my bad!
Also forgot about the January release getting moved up, so that makes sense!
At any rate, I agree! Let's hope for another run like this in the future!![]()
I would agree that you might want to purchase these at a decent price while you can (me included) from members who aren't asking for your first born as payment. Who know what happened or what will happen.

some customers of his who received their products in quality condition have been filing ebay claims against the guy for various reasons. its sad, because this guy went out of his way and hooked up all up with a great deal, but some people are too greedy. its even more sad to say that some of those filing claims belong to the community here.

What on earth are people filing claims for? This has gotten way out of handif people received their products in great condition they should leave it at that, and be happy!
Wooooow, why the (blank) would they do that? That makes no sense at all.
Suppose people are greedy, the reason he has them is qc, its not like he will open every box to check quality. Sounds like people who got a few dodgy ones can't sell them on at rip off rates and are pissed off.

What a shame. Some people have nothing better to do with their lives than try to scam others out of money. If they have a legit complaint, that's fine, but I haven't heard any real complaints about the products anyone has received. Of course there are QC issues with this set, but that was known prior to buying these cases, and it's not like the seller opened each and every vinyl to check QC. These cases were sent brand new, sealed. There's no way of knowing what the vinyls looked like.
To the members here who are participating in that nonsense, I have one word for you: pathetic.

That filing claims is unbelievable. Give someone an inch, they want a mile.

Yeah, I've heard of this now. It seems that the FF still had QC problems and people are trying to do "partial refund" scams by saying the product is not as described, since he didn't note they were defective. People suck.
ETA: This isn't new. I sold a TS Buzz Lightyear awhile back. It was obvious from his big head who it was, so I never opened it up. I guess it had 1 or 2 paint marks on it when the buyer opened it, and, since I didn't open it and specifically mention it, I got hit as the seller.![]()
