Hahahaha. I love it, a guy has a bad start to a season while he's been amazing his entire career and you want to give up on him. My god people, give a guy a break. You are starting to sound like those stupid stuck up yankee fans that I can't stand. Then why not trade Sandoval while you're at it, he's always hurt so let it be someone else's problem. Geez louise
i love the guy but he's entering his 30s and he's definitely starting to break down like past cy young award winners and world series heroes. Like Brandon Webb who won the cy young at age 27. Where is he now after throwing only 4 innings in 09? or Josh Beckett who became inconsistent when he turned 28. Trust me, as a giants fan, i would hate to see lincecum in a different uniform. But if you can only pitch 3 innings max, then there is definitely something wrong with you. I know youre suppose to believe in your team, your players, but not if hes jeapordizing the team's chances. Especially of the way the dodgers are playing right now. I'm just saying that now would be a good time to get a good deal. But until then, i will be down on my knees praying when he starts.

So then does that mean that afte Derek Lowe has started the season off with 6 wins and then gets slammed yesterday he should be traded? Keep in mind that Lowe is at least 6 years older than Lincecum and doesn't have the great career in his first few years. Also does that mean that the phillies should trade Halladay and Lee (who has 0 wins btw) because they aren't winning games (and who are also already in their 30's)? Guys are allowed to have bad years or bad stretches. And if your sentence I quoted holds true, then the Mets should be going with only a 2 man rotation in Dickey and Santana cause the other guys suck and barely give 5 innings most of the time. I just don't understand how people want a guy gone with the first sign of trouble
I'm thinking the Red Sox will finish 10 games above .500. I really hope the Orioles maintain their pace and finish in first for a change!

I tell ya, the Mets continue to amaze and surpise me both in very very pleasant ways. I'm very very happy with the way they have performed this year and have exceeded everyones expectations. They play so well for Terry Collins better than I've seen them play for anyone in the past 10 years. They grind out at bats and take a lot of pitches as well as come from behind a lot. I do notice though when they're down late in games, they seem to give up at bats and just look defeated but that may just be me. I'm not expecting them to go anywhere because their bullpen is terrible but I expect them to definitely contend for the second wild card spot if they keep this up
Dodgers. 2 Words. First Place! We've been like crap ever since we found out Manny was on steroids. Matt Kemp has played his A-Game. We got Clayton Kershaw, who last year, won Cy Young, Gold Glove, Triple Crown, a All-Star, NL Strikeout Champion, MLB ERA champion, and NL wins champion. Also, the first pitcher to win Cy Young, Gold Glove, and Triple Crown in the same season. *Brag rights accepted* *Cough*
Had to come back and point out that my Buccos are in first place to start the second half on the season. Might not be able to say they are in first place again all season.
Your Pirates have been very impressive and very frustrating at the same time since I'm a Reds fan. lol I'm a huge McCutchen fan! I have a USA mini helmet signed by him. The young Pirates have a lot of fire. It's hard not to like them. I'm ok with Pitt winning though, especially since I grew up in a Steeler family. =)
On a totally unrelated note, how impressive is Pablo Sandoval?!?!?!?! That big guy plays amazing defense, can hit it a mile, and goes 100% all the time. I wish all players would play like he did. I'm tired of the Manny Ramirez and Brandon Phillips of the league who are very talented, but seem to play lackadaisically (is that a word? lol).
They certainly have been impressive. I'm not sure that they can keep hitting at the same clip they have been hitting the past couple of months. I would expect a second half let down much like last year. I think the experience of the Cards or the Reds is gonna win out in the end. McCutchen is simply on another level at the moment.

What about another Rangers run into the finals, and this time they can win, seriously I'm annoyed. Twice they got into the finals in a row and lost LOL.
