Disney Parks Blog - Last 10 Cards!

There is an article on the Disney Parks Blog about SotMK (here).

In the article they have this to say about the last 10 cards:

The last 10 cards in the set – the Super Rare 10 – will be revealed in a few more weeks! Keep watching the Disney Parks Blog.
Ugh! Why can't they just tell us now... But at least we'll finally get some "official" info about the last 10 cards. Just a few more weeks...

And one last thing...did anyone notice that the Thumper Card is different?

We don't need them revealed; we know what the cards are. We just need them available for us to add to our dang decks.

Their Thumper looks like concept art to me - no numbered corner, no icon denoting the rarity. I'm tempted to try playing theirs, although it could also be a trick - we know Disney isn't too pleased at people playing the cards from smart phones or tablets. ... Maybe I'll try that Thumper on someone else's game.

We do. They were distributed in the early weeks of beta testing. I suppose it's possible there'll be some changes to them, but probably not. Stay tuned.

Yep. I have the list here somewhere. ... Ah, here it is:

    61. Ariel's Bubble Attack
    62. Dumbo's Pink Elephant Parade
    63. Finn McMissile's Missile Salvo (the only one I've actually seen in person)
    64. Hercules' Tower Topple
    65. Jasmine's Magic Carpet Tassels of Fury
    66. Mama Odie's Magic Charm
    67. Merryweather's Stone Spell
    68. Mr. Incredible's Power Heave
    69. Mushu's Fiery Breath
    70. Winnie the Pooh's Honey Bees

It's no secret what they are; it's just a secret how we get them.

Yeah...after I posted it I saw the (c)2011 Disney on the side.

Is it just the Cast Members saying that people shouldn't use cards on smart phones & tablets? Or is Disney actually not happy about it? I guess Disney would care if they plan on selling packs.

I don't have any on-the-record sources, but what we've heard whispers of is that Disney as a whole isn't thrilled about it. It makes sense - even if they never sell packs, you still have to go into MK to get cards, and once you're there, you have a chance of picking up a vinyl, a pin, something from Casey's or the Confectionary, etc. If you have an instant collection through your device, it eliminates the need to actually collect the cards. Of course, many still would, but I understand the alleged issue.

I don't think it's too big a problem personally; I thought it was pretty neat you could use your phone, thus eliminating the need to carry the physical cards, although if you're alone, you'd still need cards to achieve any combos.

You can pull up the image of a card, provided it's a good-quality image, and hold up your phone.
