Your First Chaser (Blind-boxed or Bought)

We all remember our first time. Obtaining a chaser, that is.

Do you remember your first Vinylmation chaser?
Did you blox it, or buy it? Was it given to you?
Do you remember where you got it from? (Parks, eBay, DS.com, Disney Store, etc)
Was it a chaser you were actively looking for?
What was your first chaser that you bought straightforward, instead of blind boxed?

Can't wait to read everyone's responses!

Mine is urban 1 gold chaser. I got upset and i almost throw it away because it's "not on the box". So I thought it's a defect. Took me quite a while to figure out it's a Chaser! LOL

My first chaser was 3-D Mickey from U5. It was during the summer BOGO they were having and all of the HaLs were gone so I picked up an U5. I wasn't actively looking for it at all, but I was very thrilled when I opened the box.

My first chaser was P5 Tom Morrow, that I bloxed from DS.com! I couldn't believe it when I opened it that I got a chaser, let alone sent from the website. The feeling was indescribable. The best thing was, I wasn't even looking for this chaser. I had just started collecting and didn't know much about many VM and I had JUST heard about this chaser, and that's how I knew what it was. He has a special place in my collection.

The first chaser I bought was P6 Abe Lincoln from eBay. It was also my first online purchase. I was so nervous I wasn't going to get anything in the mail! I casually collect Abe Lincoln stuff ever so often so when I found out it was him as the chaser, I flipped. I NEEDED it. I didn't want to try bloxing! I also love going to the Hall of Presidents with my friends. ;) I'm glad I did buy him.

    Collecting since September 2010

Our first one was U4 paint drip mickey. We started collecting around the time they came out. Our first blox was HAL as we were trying to get early to bed donald. We got lucky and got him then decided to buy a few more bloxes from other series, we got 2 park 5's and 2 u4's. And we got lucky and got the Paint drip chaser. It was at D-street WDW.

My first chaser was Animation 1 clear pink elephant. I bought the simba topper combo pack on ebay and when I opened the box I found the clear pink elephant. I was confused at first but then realized it was the chaser

My first one was Evil Dr. Porkchop. My girlfriend managed to pull it out of a nearly full case at the DS store in Connecticut. It was when I first started collecting and I was really hoping to get it. He ate dinner with us at California Pizza Kitchen afterwards.

Urban 2 Green Tea. Niccy and I were in the Orlando airport waiting before we went through security. This was our first trip to WDW since Vinylmation had been released. Niccy thought they were neat and bought some Park 2, Urban 2 and Holiday 1 at the parks. After counting the number we had in my carry-on, she realized we had 13, and decided that that was not good.

She sent me into the Disney gift shop in the airport (not exactly sure which one) to go buy one more so we would have an even, safe number. I picked one out of the case, paid and brought it to her. Upon opening she asked "What's this?" She realized it wasn't on the box. My eyes widened and said "We pulled the chaser!"

My first chaser was U5's 3D Mickey. It was first trip back to the park in a while and my first time back as a trader. My friend and I just came off Space Mountain and we walked into Star Trader to see what they had in stock. I noticed the cases of U5s and was caught off guard a little because I honestly didn't think they would still be at the park. As I was staring at them, I was telling my friend that I had bought a few U5 bloxes when they were on sale at DS.com, but I didn't have any luck getting the chaser. I was describing to her what the chaser looked like and that I really wanted it, but that I wasn't about to buy it off ebay. At that point I pretty much already considered it an "I'm not paying that much/impossible grail" right next to Sorcerer Mickey. Even though that morning I was telling myself that I wasn't going to buy any Vinylmation until my second day, I ended up buying two clear fronts that my sister wanted for her birthday and two U5s. The first U5 was the hippie, which I didn't want. I was working on the second box and was telling her, "It's too expensive on ebay. I really love it but I'm not going to pay that much for it" I looked down, gasped and kept looking back and forth between my friend and the silver bag that held a 3D Mickey. I was pretty much floating on air for the rest of the evening, lol.

My first chaser pull was from a DS.com order. Stayed up the night V2 was released and bought the Jafar 9" as well as a few bloxes. Was so pumped to get Mother Gothel. My second chaser pull we went to the nearest DS and bought a few AiW and V2 bloxes and decided to open them on the way home. Almost lost track of the road when I saw Dinah get unboxed. I love my little kitten.

The first chaser I bought was Dr. Porkchop but it was for my son. The first chaser I bought myself was P6 Abe. We bought him at Westward Ho in Disneyland. Since then we have had decent blind box chaser luck. cough*ghostobi*cough. I bought the P3 and P5 chasers on ebay since P5 was gone by the time I decided I was really going to stick with this Vinylmation thing.
