London 3" Exclusive - Queens Guard

We have a new London exclusive!! It's a 3" available in the 4 London stores, Oxford St, Westfield, Covent Garden and Stratford for £8.




I'd like to see a close up, but I think there is a lot of missing detail that they could have added.

I'm curious as to what kind of detail you guys think could have been added... judging from this photo I found on google, it seems like they encompassed most of the details. I assume they could had added a gun or something, but that doesn't seem necessary.

He should sit nicely next to the UK flag and 2 9" london exclusives....

I need to see the back to judge properly, but there should be lapels on the shoulders, and the buttons on the pockets would have been easy to add too.

To be fair, a Vinylmation doesn't really have shoulders, so I'm not sure that's a detail that could have worked. And the white buttons on the pockets on the front might have looked a bit like nipples. All just my opinion.

Yes, true. I'm just a big fan of detail on vinyls lol. But like Roger says, it does fit in well with the Dublin, Copenhagen and Paris exclusives and more detail may have made it too different to those.

Oh I hear ya! I wish they had done something with the texture on the hat to give it some depth. I think maybe that would have made it look a bit less plain.

It's fun that they keep the hat-over-their-eyes design for the most recent European Store Exclusives. I look forward to the first picture of all four Exclusives side by side.

On a sidenote, I don't think this Vinylmation lacks detail, I really like it.

I really like the new style of the exclusives, I think it's really simplistic but pretty cute. I agree with MsHalloween in that I wish they had done a bit more with the hat, but overall I think it's a pretty great figure!

I think it's a nose, it reminds me a lot of the Goofs/dogs in A Goofy Movie/Goof Trop Series

I, like others, like this and I'm glad it's cohesive with other European exclusives. I love that their hats are pulled over their eyes, it would be very cute to have them all lined up. Do Europeans actually wear their hats low? or is it symbolic? I don't understand it but I love it

Like it. Something about any Vinyl that doesn't have eyes really works for me.

I love this, as well as the others. Makes me sad though that I'll never get them

I too like the style and how it goes well with the Paris Champs Elysees and new Dublin Leprechaun vinyls! The lack of eyes make it a little more generic, which I kinda like in this case! As far as making the hat/vinyl a little more detailed, how cool would it have been if they flocked the black bit of the vinyl? That'd definitely look a little more like the Beefeaters!

Hahaha, no, we don't! Although out of all of the European exclusives this one does come the closest to being accurate since the Queen's Guards do wear the hats very low, coming to around the eyebrows. It's not like that for the Paris or Dublin ones though, they are a little odd.

I remember reading recently on VN that this vinyl and other exclusives were going to be sold at Disney stores. Has anyone bought one in the US yet?
