From creative genius Tim Burton ("Alice in Wonderland," "The Nightmare Before Christmas") comes Frankenweenie, a heartwarming tale about a boy and his dog. After unexpectedly losing his beloved dog Sparky, young Victor harnesses the power of science to bring his best friend back to life—with just a few minor adjustments. He tries to hide his home-sewn creation, but when Sparky gets out, Victor's fellow students, teachers and the entire town all learn that getting a new "leash on life" can be monstrous.

Tim Burton

Edward Scissorhands was okay, but it wasn't a masterpiece, and his two Batman movies just didn't work. Beetlejuice and Mars Attacks! are both excellent, but it's hard to really consider those "Tim Burton movies." He was much better before studios started giving him free reign (or before he had the money to pretty much ignore the studios). Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was just a travesty when compared to the original film.

I'm disappointed it did so poorly at the box office, even though it got great reviews. I always want movies I love (well, I'm assuming I'll love it - I don't think that's too much of a stretch for me
