It's like a Build-a-Bear but for RC cars... I like going in there. I'll customize one eventually.

DLR store was pretty nice!!! my son got to make a dump truck one!! as far as pricing goes i thought it would be bad, but it really wasn't!! (as long as you stay away from using the Disney Cars shells and r/c chassis). total came out to be <$40. after seeing how cheap/easy it is to customize the cars; makes me want to create my own next time...or just soup up my son's car even more!!

I went there last month to the one in Disneyland, the concept was neat but to build a car with the Cars theme set me back $80. I don't know if it was worth the price but my kid was so excited to build his own car.
just a heads up...Ridemakerz Disney Cars 2 Merchandise is now found at Toys R Us...(on my Cars diecast run i spotted these). Good to know if i ever decide to build a Cars themed one. There's starter kits and basic bolt ons...

RideMakerz is a pretty cool experience. I went to the one at DTD in DLR and I built one for my dad. He loves Jimmy Johnson so I couldn't resist getting him one.
The last couple times I've been up there they have had a special where you can build a car for $30. if you want to add a motor then the total comes to somewhere around $55.
I asked the cashier if they accepted my DLR Passport and she said they usually do, unless they are running the $30 special (makes sense).
Also, Each time I've been up there the people are super friendly and very helpful..
Side Story:
After I gave my Dad his for Xmas I was lucky enough to take him up there last month. We stayed there for a night and before we left we were walking around DTD and he kept asking where that store was. Once he was in there, he was like a kid in a candy shop. It was awesome.
These things sounds like it would make a cool collectible but at the same time very expensive!! Anyone own any of these? Im curious to see what these look like . . . I would also like to see what you've created . . . Thanks in advance!!
I got one for my son and he loved it. But then he broke i when he sat on it.
