So my son got this game for Christmas and I have found myself doing the same thing I did months ago with vinyls. That is calling stores, and checking eBay daily to find these little plastic figures. Reminds me of the good old days!! Just curious if anyone else on the boards is going through the same thing.
Yes. We got this game for my 7 and 4 year olds. They love playing it and now every time we leave the house they want to go looking for them. My wife seems to have better luck than me. It must be all about timing. It has been a quest. We still don't have any fire or air. Our neighbors have bought it now too. Their kids keep coming over and asking if they can borrow some of ours.
Like a grand and miraculous spaceship, our planet has sailed through the universe of time.
This game is great for my kids (ages 7 and 9) and me as well. It is a lot of fun trying to find the figures!
I get the feeling that demand outstripped supply after Christmas, and hopefully we will start seeing more pop up in the stores.
BTW, I have had good luck at Amazon.com --- occasionally one of the "hard to get" ones will pop up for retail price!

Yup!! Currently playing this as well . . . Sold out everywhere in Canada!! Lucky for me, where I work we sell these so I get first dibs!!! LoL . . . If you haven't heared google Skylanders "Giants" . . .
It appears this craze has hit the CrazyChief household. Our kids fell in love with it playing at Best Buy. They literally played for almost 30+ minutes and then JT played for another 20. There were some really good deals going on.

I thought the game wasn't too bad, but I had to restrain myself from getting into buying and looking for the figures! I found the game, portal and several figures at various times at thrift stores (I can't believe they were there already!) and that's how I was able to try it out. Decided I didn't need to get addicted to buying the little figures
