Per the Vinylmation Blog, this set will be released on Friday, April 13, 2012 with a LE 750.

In other news, we are happy to report that the much anticipated Vinylmation pocket watch and figure featuring The Haunted Mansion will be released on Friday, April 13 (fitting, huh?)

The set has an edition size of 750 and a retail of $175. Disney Design Group artist Caley Hicks created the artwork for this set. It will be released at the following locations.

I am not an expert but I believe there is usually a waiting period for LE merchandise when ordering through delivears. I am sure that some of the other members that order through this will be able to answer better though.

Yes, I believe you have to wait like 30 days before ordering a LE item through mail order.

Well according to the VM.com blog 6am is the earliest they want folks to line up to receive a wristband for it. The line for the wristbands will start at the Rainforest café. Now if I remember correctly and a So Cal member can correct me if I'm wrong but I believe if you try to park at DTD before 6am security will kick you out. Now once you have received a wristband for the item you can actually leave the park and return later in the day but no later than 1pm after 1pm all remaining HM sets will be available for anyone.

That's always a possibility. There were lots of boxes behind the counter at D Street DLR, this morning. I didn't ask if they got their full allotment.

I had someone pick one up for me but they said there was information floating around FaceBook that some of them were defective and that the watch would not close. They said that they checked the one that they picked up for me and that this was indeed the case. Has anyone else heard anything about quality control issues with the HM watch?

For the record, my only source for this information (so far) is from someone that I only know through eBay.
