I'm really looking forward to this, but I have a weird feeling that Nolan's going to kill off Batman and I am not going to be happy.

Bale has already said he's done after this, so my guess is a re-boot in a few years.

YESSSSSSS! I'm a huge fan of the Dark Night, so I can't wait for Dark Night Rises. Also, the cast is incredible. I'm a big fan of Joseph Gordon Levitt, Marion Cotillard, and Tom Hardy, so I'll be seeing this one for sure.

Which is exactly why I'm afraid it's going to happen and I don't want it to. I like the Señor as Batman. I know a lot of people aren't huge fans of his casting but.

I too can't wait for this movie. I hope they have another secret villain in store for us... But what I really like is how they went about doing Bane's costume, he's not wearing that cheesy Nacho Libre mask. In the last movie he was featured he looked ridiculous and was Poison Ivy's puppet, when in reality he is a genius and a great fighter too. In this movie it seems Nolan has really tried to portays Bane's real character.

A plot rumor for TDKR has been confirmed, so click on the 'spoiler' if you want to know what it is! If you don't... I warned you

Note: this is a rumor that has been around for a little while, so it may not be "breaking news", but it's something that has been officially confirmed.

    http://www.totalfilm.com/news/plot-r...k-knight-rises

The Dark Knight Rises still has a couple of question marks hanging over a few key areas. For example, is Bane working alone? Where has he recruited his army? And just who is Miranda Tate?

However, while these issues have yet to be resolved, Warner have confirmed one plot nugget that had previously been the stuff of whispers and conjecture. If you don't want to know what it is, then why have you read this far? In any case, here's your last chance to turn back…

Ok, well if you hadn't already guessed, Warner have confirmed that Liam Neeson will return for The Dark Knight Rises, meaning that Ra's al Ghul will be reappearing in his adult form (Josh Pence already being credited as playing a younger version of the villain).

The news was confirmed by Warner in their press notes for Wrath Of The Titans, in which Neeson can be seen playing Zeus.

"Neeson next appears in Peter Berg’s actioner Battleship,” reads the release, "and he also will be seen in Christopher Nolan’s much-anticipated action thriller The Dark Knight Rises."

There you have it, then. Christopher Nolan is bringing the trilogy full-circle with the return of Batman Begins' chief antagonist. Neeson was only thought to be on set for a short amount of time, so his part will likely be a cameo, but that's not to say the character won't loom large over proceedings.

I saw this yesterday and it was SOOOO worth watching! Made me even MORE EXCITED for the release!!! Only 9 more days to go!! Hooray for single digits!

Now, do I want to go at midnight....my fiance LOVES LOVES LOVES Batman (after all, he has requested to have Batman themed Man-Cave once we buy a house, which he so creatively has decided to call the Matt-Cave... and I've even agreed to paint it for him, complete with Batman and Robin symbols on the walls.) I'm thinking it might be a good surprise to take him at midnight to see the movie since 7/20 will also be 365 days to go until we're married.

My only worry - although I know it'll be super crowded, I worry that people will be annoying and talk during the movie. But mostly die-hard fans go to midnight showings right?

Really enjoyed this movie. I am admittedly not the biggest Batman fan ever. I thought the second movie was greatly over-hyped due to Heath Ledger's death. The 2hr 45 min length of this movie flew by. The plot twists were great. It was really weird seeing the tumblr on film driving down alleyways and other roads I walk on my lunch hour. Or, seeing street signs and buildings I recognized from Pittsburgh during the climax of the movie.

I love the movie but for some odd reason, there's still something was missing. I know for me, the fight between Batman and Bane and when Bane did what he did to Batman (don't want to give a spoiler to anyone who hasn't seen this movie), it wasn't as dramatic as I'd like it to be. It didn't give me the impact it did on the comic book. For me, the music could have been better at that event. Plus I don't like the fact that the word "bodyguard" was used, AGAIN. I don't know, I'm just being very picky but I did LOVE the movie.

Personally, I don't think the focus on The Dark Knight was due to Heath Ledger's death. I love The Dark Knight because Joker is in it and Heath Ledger brought him the menacing side of Joker, comepare to the comedic side. Heath Ledger played Joker so well. Bane is the character that can stand toe to toe, mano y mano to Batman while Joker is the one who will play with Batman's mind. Now, which is worse, physical strenght or mental strenght. I personally like The Dark Knight a little better than The Dark Knight Rises but I love the plot that they combine bits and pieces from the Bane vs Batman story and "No Man's Land". Plot twists is great and after seeing it for the second time, I have to admit, certain parts of the movie I wanted to fast forward.

I felt the same way. The final fight between them was VERY anti-climatic.

To me, the final fight was such a let down, special how Bane lost. It reminded me of Leathal Weapon 4. There was no way Danny Glover and Mel Gibson can beat Jet Li without him loosing that way.

Too be fair, the movie was almost pushing 3hrs so Nolan couldn't have dragged out the fight between the two that much. I don't know that the fight was anti-climatic to me but it certainly ended abruptly. Plus, the way the fight ends foreshadows what happens between Batman and Catwoman and the end of the movie.
