    Disney Xbox Games

I myself am not a big gamer but my fiancée likes to play from time to time. She showed a lot of intrest in Disneyland Aventures on Xbox Kinect so I bought her a Xbox and the game for Xmas. Has anyone played it and what are your thoughts on it? I also got her disney universe to go with it. I hoping she enjoys them.

My wife and I have been playing Disney universe and it's pretty good. I'm a big gamertag, but I can take pleasure in a simply fun game. It's very similar to a Lego game, but it has the added fun of playing through your favorite Disney movies in crazy Disney costumes We just bought the nightmare before Christmas levels add-on but haven't played them yet

My kids are getting Disney Universe and Kinect Disneyland Adventures for Christmas. I don't know anything about Disney Universe but Kinect Disneyland Adventures looks awesome. I guess we will have a little more info this time next week.
Like a grand and miraculous spaceship, our planet has sailed through the universe of time.

I've got both games but we've only played through Disney Universe. As Hawk said it's very similar to the Lego seires (which isn't a bad thing at all). It's especially fun if you've got a "casual" gamer or young kids around.

I had no idea that the NMBC add on levels had come out. So thanks for that

You guys are talking about these levels "coming out" or "purchasing" them. What exactly does that mean? Like on Xbox LIVE or something?

OK I just looked this up online and found out they are $4.99 per level. So my question is this... Is it worth it? I mean what do you get for the 5 bucks? Is it just costumes or a whole extra level or what?

It's totally worth it. Haven't even played the levels yet and I can tell you it's worth the $5. You get a new "world", which in this game is a set of 3 levels, and you get 5 costumes. Three are unlocked immediately (Jack, Sally, Dr. Finkelstein), and two more you have to play to unlock. The costumes are superb; Jack is my favorite in the game so far. We're really enjoying it, just have to find more time to play!

I recently was gifted Disneyland Adventures. It's a lot of fun, and so beautifully designed. I can foresee it be a very long game (lots of quests!) but very neat. I only play it in short bursts but it's definitely a must for any disneyaholic. I really hope the popularity drives them to make a Disney world version!

Thanks for the info! That sounds sweet! I can't wait to start playing these games on Christmas morning
