    Forgotten characters......

Do you ever wonder why some characters that you love seem to be missed out by the decision makers for Disney merchandise.
Be it WDCC, Lenox, Pez, stuffed toys, action figures, mugs, tree ornaments and so on......
I'm not saying there has never been a single thing made featuring this character, just it's not as readily available as some.

Here's my personal top 5 of characters that merchandise forgot

    1) Rachel (Fantasia2000)
    2) Alameda Slim (Home on the range)
    3) Morph (Treasure Planet)
    4) Runt of the litter (Chicken Little)
    5) Celia (Monsters Inc)

Bowler hat guy and the penguins from Marry Poppins just missed the cut as they have their own vinylmation figure.

    Let's hear yours......

I'm sorry I bit you... and pulled your hair... and punched you in the face...

Here are some of my choices:
    1. Ferdie and Morty (Mickey's nephews)
    2. Huey Dewey and Louie - they are not forgotten really but they NEED a vinylmation
    3. Evinrude from the Rescuers
    4. Ratigan from the Great Mouse Detective
    5. Faline - Bambi's girlfriend
    6. Gurgi, Hen Wen - from Black Cauldron
    7. Mr. Toad's friends (Moley, Ratty, MacBadger)

    and so many others...

The Hunchback of Notre Dame is my favorite Disney film other than Fantasia, and it bums me out that it's basically swept under the rug by Disney. It's probably way too dark and mature for most little kids, but that's part of why I love it.

Here's hoping Frollo is in Villains 3.

I agree with Hunchback of Notre Dame, which is an amazingly beautiful movie and one I know I did not appreciate until I was an adult. Also, there is rarely any Hercules merch.

Oswald wasn't so much forgotten as he was not owned by Disney up until a few years ago, they didn't really have a choice until Universal gave over the rights.

Really, honestly I'd love to see more merchandise (especially vinyls) of these wonderful characters.
I'd also love for Disney to release Song of the South from the deathgrip of the vault...but I doubt that will ever happen.

    EDIT:
I just had to add a couple more and change some things around.

    Pink Elephants (Dumbo)
    Firebird (Fantasia 2000)
    Monstro (Pinochio)
Headless Horseman (Adventures of Ichabod and Mr Toad)

    Johnny Fedora (Make Mine Music)
Alice Blue Bonnet (Make Mine Music)
