I'm sure a bunch of you have seen my Wizard of Oz Road to Emerald City custom I finished recently. I loved doing that piece, but after it was done I decided it needed something to accompany it. So taking a cue from some of Evilos' awesome diorama sets (like the hat pirate and the Star Wars Bounty Hunter scene), I decided to make a little set.
So what we have here is a wooden base painted to look like the yellow brick road, and the Emerald City vinyl is flanked by 2 Ruby Red Slipper vinyls! I tried taking pictures with 2 cameras already, and these are the best approximation of how they look in person. For some reason my cameras are not picking up their full sparkle. Maybe I have to shoot it under blue light or something, I don't know.
The set is separate at the moment, so if you choose to keep them in their own display case, the option is there. I will be posting this on eBay later, and the opening bid will be very affordable. Basically any money I make from this set is going towards my wife's Christmas presentThat way, while I do love it and hate to sell it, I can be happy knowing it was for a very good reason!
