This movie had the most visually appealing scenery out of any movie I have ever seen, I literally can not wait to see what the imagineers do with it!

Looks like Disney may be creating a Avatar Dragon Flying Machine:

I think if done well an Avatar Land could be amazing. The movie serves itself to being an immersive experience.
I've been waiting for something new in Animal Kingdom. Honestly I'm not the roller coaster type, I like dinosaurs but I get freaked out at the end even though I go on there alot and its getting old.. The rapids have like a 30 minute wait for a 3 minute ride.. I love the safaris and trails but that only takes like 1-2 hours to complete. Soo I've been waiting for some rides to go on thats user friendly :P. Can't see what they do with it.
Seems like Disneys trying to get some of Universal's Harry Potter money.. yet I think the buzz for Avatar will have died down by the time Disney has made this expansion..

Last I heard, all Avatar based projects have been put on hold indefinitely by James Cameron. That includes the movies and the AK Expansion

Personally I'm still not excited about this. I wasn't blown away by Avatar like I was hoping to be. I was very happy when the Hurt Locker beat our Avatar just due to the over hyping of the movie and it didn't live up to anything I expected. It's my person preference of course. I just think Disney should go forward with their original plans. While I enjoy Test Track being sponsored by GM I can see how the ride would do well without the branding. I think Disney could create this land without needing it to have a movie theme and still blow other competing parks out of the water

Gotta say, I wish the Imagineers would make more original content like Haunted Mansion or Pirates of the Caribbean, as those two rides still remain all time favorites and they were made like 50 years ago? At this point it would seem Mystic Manor in Hong Kong Disneyland is the only original piece of content being created.
Cant wait! Imagineers always come thru.
id rather have a tron land than avatar...i too wasnt that big of a fan of the movie...
