I think they look pretty cool & it's a heck of a lot better than another series with kids dressed up as animals![]()

Another pic:
This is planned to be an entire series, and each vinyl will be based off of previously used designs. The example was given from these three that had appeared previously as t-shirt art. The series will be window-boxed, but it will also be more of a floating series - if one design is selling well and another isn't, for example, the one that isn't will be phased out for a new design, and the popular figure will continue to be produced.
We should see them in February of 2012.

I think this is a good sign for Vinylmation, after Park Starz got everyone to concerned they were becoming more like action figures than art, this reassures me VM's not forgetting its artsy roots.
Life is like a case o' Vinylmations. Ya never know what you gonna get.

I've seen this kind of art on pins as well and I'm so happy to see them on vinyls!![]()
I agree. I think these are the first vinyls in a while that really look like art. I think the Urban series used to be this way but has lost touch with its roots recently. Nothing against all the character series, etc., but they're just not my cup of tea (though nothing can quite compare to Cuppa Tea). This is the first series in a while that I'm really, really super excited for. February 2012 can't come soon enough IMO

I think these look awesome. The 3 from the preview are all musts for me and I'm looking forward to seeing more designs from this set.

I am a Mickey collector! I MUST HAVE THEM ALL... the ones that are pictured at least... dangit! Oh 2012 is not looking pretty for my wallet!
This looks pretty spectacular and as someone else said - really fills the urban void.
Really like the concept behind this set, especially the idea of phasing out unpopular designs for newer designs and keeping the popular ones. To me this is like the epitome of Urban designs on a Mickey canvas, like someone already said an all Mickey Urban series. My favorite so far has to be the King Mickey.
This series is just plan awesome I can't wait.

I LOVE everything about this seriesThese remind me of the Chicago "Cows on Parade", or when the Mall of America had artists paint a bunch of Snoopy statues. Oakbrook Mall in Oakbrook, IL just did something similar with big frog statues. This is a true "urban" series and I CAN'T WAIT!!!

I love this series - both the execution and the concept. King Mickey is my favorite so far. I have a feeling that one is going to be one of the more popular ones when this is released.

Same here, except the move to almost all character vinyls has sort of detracted from that. Glad this is bringing that back for meI want to say Chicago's cows were the first (not 100%), but they may do them other places. When I went to school at U of Iowa they did a similar concept, "Herkys on Parade", in which they painted 100 statues of our mascot; it was amazing
I really hope these are released in the Disney stores

Per the Blog, these are set to be released next Friday 1/20.![]()
