    General Park Series #9 Discussion

In a bit of a surprising move, Park Series 9 pins were allegedly and accidentally released on the West Coast and have already been pulled from store shelves. The series revealed 10 of the 12 figures that will be part of the blind box series, and below you can see the 11 designs expected to be released in 3" vinyl figure form. All but the Dole Whip design will be featured in pin form.

    - Dapper Dan (with 3 color variants)
    - Train
    - Sky Bucket (with 2 color variants)
    - Raisins
    - Dumbo
    - Sleeping Bat (with Awake Bat variant)
    - Lagoona Gator
    - Tiki & Fish
    - Dole Whip
    - Bear
    - Phantom
    - Tower of Terror Bellhop (Chaser) Highlight to read

Above is the rumored line up as we've been hearing it over the past few months. This is all tentative as Park Series #7 hasn't even been released yet. We believe the Bear may be the bear biting the canoe on the Camp Minnie-Mickey sign at Disney's Animal Kingdom, but does anyone know what the Tiki & Fish figure is inspired by? Let us know in the comments below.

Dapper Dans can be found singing on Main Street.
Train goes around the Magic Kingdom format parks.
Skybuckets were in WDW and DLR for years.
    Dumbo is obvious.
Bats can be found at Animal Kingdom.
Lagoona Gator is the mascot of Typhoon Lagoon.
Tiki & Fish and the Raisins are a bit of a mystery to me.
Dole Whip is a pineapple ice cream at the parks that has a huge following amongst Disney fans.
The Bear looks to be the bear biting the canoe on the Camp Minnie Mickey sign at Animal Kingdom.
The Phantom is from Phantom Manor in Paris.

Wow, so crazy that park 9 pins were accidentally released! What happened to park 8?

Yay to the train and Dumbo designs tho!

I saw Park 9 pins on ebay the other day. The designs looked weird, so I thought it was a fake.
Pretty strange that it's for real though. I guess they have them all made and just waiting months ahead of time to be released. I mean if they've already got Park 9 made, that would mean Park 8's done and dusted too.

As far these designs though, kind of strange choices, especially considering some of the great designs we've seen in past Park series.

As a series I don't love it but I think there are a few really good designs - the train, phantom, bat, gator and dumbo are all figures that I would consider adding to my collection... only a year - give or take a few months - to wait!

These are all pretty good designs in my book. I'm looking forward to this series. But first... maybe Park 7 and Park 8?!?! Sheesh, Disney!

http://photopost.wdwinfo.com/data/92...-Flyers_01.jpg On the left hand side. Not sure on the Tiki/Fish, trying to find a clearer picture of the pin.

And the Phantom reminds me of the ghost band in the MNSSHP Boo To You! Parade. But the colors are off, and it does match the groom in the Phantom Manor better.

Awesome!!! I CANT wait to see what the chaser looks like! And I ABSOLUTELY love their choice for a topper! If they already have Park 9 in pin form, makes me wonder just how far ahead they are with VM designs and plans...

But first things first, gotta get a Park 7 set and figure out what's going to be in Park 8.

The Phantom looks really cool. The Chaser sounds cool. Other then those two I didn't see any others I wanted. I'll have to wait to see better pics of these.

I really like most of these individually, and while it will probably be a case buy, it kind of lacks continuity as a whole. Great designs though. I'm really loving the dapper Dan, the train, dumbo, the gator, and the dole whip. Plus I pretty much NEED the chaser now.

I like the designs and the chaser sounds amazing. No monorail though, huh? I hope they keep producing them.

I'm wondering if the Tiki and Fish is found on the Nemo Subs at DLR. I don't think anything like that appears in The Living Seas or at Castaway Cay.

I don't like any of these designs. I'm actually gladbecause that means I won't be buying any. I do love the idea though for the chaser so I'll be buying that and the combo. Other than that, I can skip this series

I am SO RIDICULOUSLY EXCITED for the Phantom from Phantom Manor. I rode that ride 5 times in a row when we were in Disneyland Paris because it was so amazing. I love the Haunted Mansion but Phantom Manor improved on the idea and is so amazing!

But seriously, what happened to Park 8? And what is the Bat supposed to be from? Animal Kingdom?
