Disney Princess Designer Collection Dolls

A new Limited Edition Doll ($59.50) will be released in stores and on DisneyStore.com every Monday, starting August 22nd. The edition size varies for each Disney Princess and there are limited quantities.

First in the line-up is Cinderella. The doll is sold in a special keepsake display case with intricate details on the base, including a golden plate with Cinderella's name. The Cinderella Designer Doll includes a Certificate of Authenticity.

I was able to see these up close at my local store and I can say they are amazing! They are presented in a very elegant box that is perfect to display. Hopefully someone can snap a picture of their doll to give you an idea of what the box looks like. I am really looking forward to Rapunzel and Ariel.

The web photos do nothing for these ladies. You gotta see these in person.

So I wasn't going to give in and buy this collection but then when I stopped in my local DS today and saw all of them in person, they became a must have for me. At first I thought about only getting the ones I liked but I have a feeling I'll regret it if I don't get the all 10. So now I'll hopefully be able to get one every Monday before they sell out. The Cherry Hill store said they received 10 Cinderellas and aren't sure how many of the rest they'll get. Anyone else collecting them as well?

The managers at my Disney Store are usually pretty good at sharing information like this so hopefully they'll spill the beans on how they have a lot of a certain doll in the back room to indirectly tell me what's coming out next.

I got the exclusive D23 Silver Edition Cinderella at the Expo and she's amazing. The pictures don't do these justice and they come with a display base and case.

I love the look of these, but, strangely, I'm still on the fence on owning them. I really don't know why. Cinderella is absolutely gorgeous though. I wish my local store had them so I could get a better look.

I love these. I too saw them at D23 and I was so tempted to buy Pocahontas. She's my favorite princess and I am in love with her dress. If I have the fund when she comes out, I might cave.

Definitely Ariel and Snow White are the prettiest to me. Jasmine just has a really weird elongated face.

Eee eee eee! I am a huge fan of this new line! (it was the inspiration for making Tot make me a new banner/avatar set ). The journals and mugs that will be coming out with this artwork look beautiful and I have a feeling once I see the merchandise, disney store won't have to ask to take my money.

Shaydee, thanks so much for the excellent pictures! When I first saw these I was disappointed that some of their faces look kind of generic like the cheaper versions of them. Looking at them in these pics though I think a lot of them came out pretty nice after all. I Ariel, Snow White and Belle. Cinderella and Aurora look like they can be interchangeable, and I don't really care for the way Rapunzel transitioned onto the doll.


Snow White and Rapunzel are definitely my favorite of the artwork though- I love how elegant Snow White's pose is!

I know! I'm not even that much of a fan when it comes to princess merchandise either! I usually kind of pass by princess things, but I just love the way they did each princess and really captured their characters in such a unique way!

Thanks so much for the heads up! I sort of wish they weren't coming out next, but I guess it makes it easier to decide our of the three I'm eying which one I'll save up for if I do end up getting a doll.

These are growing on me more and more. Some of them have expressions I really love, like Ariel, Jasmine and Belle...Aurora, Snow White and Cinderella look kind of vapid (though I find that kind of fitting for their characters). Tiana's dress isn't nearly as pretty as the original from the movie, but that design was hard to top. I LOVE Belle, though. That would be the one I'd get. (Not decided on getting any, but if I did...)

I saw these when I picked up Cinderella and have a feeling I'll give in to buying at least one mug when I'm there next Monday.

I really hope the next release is Ariel. I'll see what I can learn when I stop my local DS again this week. I dont understand why they can't release the schedule but I guess its a marketing technique to encourage customers to visit the stores (those who can't look online) and create a higher demand for the product over not knowing what's coming out when. Who knows... all I know is I'm anxious to know what's coming out next.

That was my exact thought process. I even made a list and crossed out the ones I could live without . . . but then I crossed out the crossed out ones and got closer to ten XD So that's it! I'm getting them! At least they didn't come out all at once and have a week between them.

I'm not waiting to purchase them though. The ebay prices are insane! Especially considering Cinderella's still available at the Disneystore.com.

I take that back, kind of............
They do have them online, so I phoned my local disneystore, they are not getting them, they do have them in 2 London stores but they are much more expensive here than they are in the states, £50 each!!!
I love them but don't think my hubby would be appreciating £500 on 10 dolls, might have to hold out and just treat myself to Ariel.
