Michael's Sale!!

We bought the last 2 in the Hadley MA store yesterday at $22.99 each after the 2 coupons.

Note: The cubbys hold Abe Lincoln with his hat (unexpected), but do not hold the park 5 sorcerer Mickey with the hat (unexpected) or AK giraffe with the neck (expected).

The vinyls look great in the display case, they really do!

I wonder if they designed Abe's hat with the shot glass display dimensions in mind, since so many people are now utilizing them???
**If you want to display your Sorceror w/ Hat on you can place him in the slot you want... mark where the tip of his hat would go & bore a small indentation there with a drill bit.
I don't think you would actually need to drill all the way thru. Then just color in the light spot with a Sharpie, or a dab of black paint.
This is how I have my SorcerorMickey Displayed right now... he is safer with the hat OFF anyways! LOL

The only thing I don't like is how it cuts off the vinyls around the edges of the case. I like to see the whole vinyl but then again the entire display does look nice. Has anyone had to rearrange their cases on the wall since it's always growing?

Got an email from Michael's today for a 50% off one regular priced item coupon for Sept 4th and 5th and a 40% off coupon for Sept 6th-10th. So stock up on those shot glass display cases people. I'm not allowed to get anymore. My wife will kill me.

that also bothers me about the case, but then again, it's not like it was made for vinyls so i can't complain too much.

If you push them over as far as they can go in their little cubby, you really don't loose much viewing area. That's what I've been doing and you can see nearly, if not all, of the vinyls.

Going to pick another one of these up Sunday, hopefully they have some! Last time I went with coupons there weren't any left.

If you sign up for their mailin list they send the coupons to u in your email... Or just go on their site and print one off. Thats how I get mine. It seems like they go on sale every other week. Good thing cuz I need another one lol!

It's not so bad. It's a lot worse if you use those from the Container Store and chop off half the body by putting another vinyl in front. That hides the vinyls more. Like BrittLee mentioned, just moving them over as far to the left or right will show more of the vinyl. I thought about doing that the other day but I'm a little OCD so I like to perfectly center my vinyls.

As for rearranging, yes I've had to rearrange my wall a few times. I started with two and after the last sale, I now have six. The wife already told me no more.

I have used the 25% off on top of a 40% off before. The 25% off is an extra discount that can be used on top of other coupons and sales.

I have been a Michael's shopper for years now for mostly painting supplies, but also their display cases and frames, they have thee best coupons! The "entire purchase" coupons can be used on sale items like 40% off display cases, but not combined on top of the 50% or 40% off one item coupons, at least at my store. For those buying display cases be sure to check them over for scratches and cracks under the plastic wrap.
