    WDW Parks Essentials Pack

I'm not sure if a similar topic has been started. If it has, I apologize.

I wanted to start a WDW Park Essentials Packing list. Something like a "Don't Come to the Parks Without It" list.

This would totally benefit my family for our first trip to WDW next year. We're a family of "kids" of all ages ranging from 5-35

For starters, I can think of:

    Water Mist-er
    Sun Block/screen
    Camelbak/waterjug backpack
Camera (w/ spare battery, large media card)

What can you add that would help us make the most out of our vacation?
    Keep moving forward....

Hahahaha, beat me to it. I was going to say that. Brita Bottles. Those are awesome. They have filters so you don't taste the nasty florida water, hahaha. Just keep filling them up so you save money on buying water

Really good Tennis shoes and comfortable light weight clothes. I also bring a good sturdy back pack and pack flod up pochos just in case. I would also pack some light snacks for the little one goldfish, cheerios, granola

I always only bring one of those small Disney card holders (ticket/room key, credit card, license and bandaids), a vinylmation in my pocket, and my camera with a hand sanitizer attached to it.
That way I don't have to wait in the bag check and don't have to worry about lugging around a bunch of bags
It might be different with a younger kid though :/

I am so jealous every time I see people breeze right through the entrance for people with no bags. I carry a backpack for my DSLR, spare lenses, and video camera. I won't go to disney without them but it isn't that big of a deal since we have kids and kids need junk. I'd be going through the bag check no matter what.

When we have smaller kids we always take small battery powered fans so they can cool off. Like others have said we always have Ponchos and rain cover for the stroller. This is Florida we are talking about.

Autograph books, pins to trade, Hidden Mickey Book. These are all things my son loves to have so he can entertain himself between attractions. He loved searching hotels for Hidden Mickeys while we were waiting to eat.

definitely some trade ammo! there are alot of places to trade. well im from miami, if its going to be hot as hell down here in south florida, its going hot as hell in central florida. dress like your going to the beach, tank tops, board shorts or basketball shirts (i preferably love board shorts, especially for water rides) sneakers (walking or running)..i would go to the local store and pick up water bottles, because orlando water has an acquired taste because of their chemical system they use in their water (i dont care, water is water lol)...someone here mentioned snacks? yes definitely to save some cash, BUT that doesnt mean u cant buy a turkey leg, mickey chocolate bar, ice cream cookie sandwich..etc! ziplock bags. why? who knows it could rain so u need to put the essentials like your wallet, cell, camera or while your riding Splash Mountain in MK or Kali River Rapids in AK...hmm cant think of anything else..oh did i mention VMs for trading? lol

Haven't been to Disney in a long time (heading to WDW in April 2012), but on my list to pack are, not already mentioned:

a couple gallon size Ziploc bags
Glow bracelts/necklaces from the $1 store
Take-out drink lids to use as drip catchers for ice cream

I have young children, if you can't tell, lol.

Don't forget an empty Pringles can so you don't waste any time getting out of lines to use the restroom.

    Kidding!

LOL! I have 4 boys and we do keep an empty Coke bottle in the car for such a need, but I think it might be frowned upon in the parks.

Pin lanyard round my neck; lunch, autograph book, pen, guidebook, sunscreen, etc. on my back; and iPhone (to double as camera), room key, and ticket in my pockets. Just the essentials.
Life is like a case o' Vinylmations. Ya never know what you gonna get.
