i heard a rumor this series is being re-released in april. anyone else hear the same?

You mean return right, since this series is not sold out yet. Its doubtful this series is returning or being re-released if Disney stores had them on sale for $7.99

Now some AIW sets are being released in April, so maybe someone got confused and mistook that as the series is being re-released.

I guess many of the new series' will have a shorter lifespan because there are so many sets being released at a time. Probably like 2,500 cases then they're done. Good thing I got both variants but I still need the Dinah chaser, Dodo bird, Regular Mad Hatter, and Oyster Baby. I wanted more Park 7 but I guess they're gone for good too.

I was at my local Disney store this afternoon and they had a full case and 4 boxes. I bought 8 boxes at $7.99 each. I'm really kicking myself for not buying the whole case now.

That is insanely awesome. I asked at my local store and the CM today after seeing this thread and she pretty much just laughed at me (I have dubbed her the Vinylmation Grinch) and said that she didn't know and didn't care. My favorite CM (who loves vinyls herself) was there in the afternoon and said very few actually have some in stock so you are very lucky!

Wow and thank you! My Hubby was with me and after we left the store looked at me and asked if we should go back and get the rest so I'd have a complete set but we are saving for Disney Land at the end of the month and I was thinking they'd have them there. Guess that isn't the case is it?
Oh and I managed to only get 1 double out of the 8 boxes I got and I got the Cheshire Cat which I really wanted most out of the whole set.

there are a bunch of new cases at dstreet in disneyland. i just went by there tonight and they said they got a surprise shipment. guess they're not retired yet

No, they are regular price. Also, they are everywhere inside the DLR park today.

Good timing that they have these! Wonder if they did it because they have the AIW 4 pack flower set available now! Very cool nonetheless! May have to make a trip down there myself to snag a box!

I wasn't planning on going this weekend, but now I guess I have to. I am on the hunt for the variants and the chaser, worth picking up a few blind boxes in hopes for what I need. I love this set.

AiW flowers was definitely not online only - they were at both D Streets - but I am not sure if there are any left still?

I was at DLR D-street on Friday and they still had both the AIW Flower and Cheshire combo sets available.

it really devalues these by making them so easily accessible. i traded some decent vinyls to collect the remaining few I needed from this set (including the chaser) to only see it come back. im disappointed

Yeah this is all over WDW just like the Star wars, I can't belive how many there are, I wish I was collecting vinly back in 09 so I could park 1 n 2 everywhere!!
