NJ Tri State Area Member Meet Up for Mystery Box Trade Events @ Monmouth Mall DS

OK everyone, I'm looking for some more folks to chime in here. I know there are more Members out there who are in range of this meet up. Remember we are looking for NY and PA members too, if you are willing to make the trip. We are only 2 weeks away and I hope we can get a really good turnout

Hi everyone,

crazybones27 and I took a trip to the Monmouth Mall today to get some details worked out for the upcoming meet.

We got there around 4:00 and scoped out the volume of people in the Food Court. There was plenty of space between then, and when we finally left around 5:00. So I am going to propose that the meeting time should be either 3,4,or 5 o'clock. As we get closer we need to take a vote on one of these times.

We spoke to customer service in regard to having the gathering in the Food Court and explained what we would be doing. They confirmed that it would not be a problem since there have been similar gatherings for book Clubs and Birthdays. So we are set from that aspect.

We informed the CM's in the store that we would be bringing our group in for the Mystery Box trading and offered to have them come trade with us if they could. One of them said they saw My Pics that I submitted to VN and she really enjoyed them.

Finally, there has been an update to the Dates for the Mystery box event.

So it looks like they have changed up the schedule a little (it was supposed to be the 3rd week of July, August and Sept). So now the meet will take place on the weekend of the 26th. I think the census has been we should do it on Saturday(27th) But I think that we have yet to finalize the day. They also added the third weekend in October which is news to us.

So with all of that being said, we now have a little longer to wait before the meet and a little longer to get things figured out (headcount, time, day, etc.) I'm hoping we can get a few more folks interested in joining us, and I hope that this has been helpful to the members who have had interest in attending.

I will be calling the store Between now and the 27th to make sure there aren't any other changes in dates with the mystery trading box again. I went back in the store to verify the dates on the flyer were correct. The CM told me the date change was recent and it was suppose to be the third weekends of the month. She wasn't sure as to why they changed it, but they did send them other advertising material showing the date other then these flyers.

I just want to throw it out that since there is a change in the dates does Saturday the 27th still work for everyone? Any and all feed back is very much appreciated . I can't wait to meet everyone .

Lol well the mall itself sucks The only good thing in there is the Disney Store and Maybe the Apple Store...Aside from that -_- GSP is the better mall up here! but no Disney Store...Sigh

We haven't decided on a definite time yet, but some time between 3-5pm. You did see the date change from the 20th to the 27th right?
