Ewok, scout and damaged Yader would be awesome! Curious if we'll start seeing the later triology as part of this series? I'd laugh if there was a Jar Jar, people hated him but I thought he was cool

Although I wonder if they would decide to do I-III instead with young Anakin, Darth Maul, Jar Jar(Sorry), Qui Gon, C3P0 in construction, Burned Anakin, General Greivous, Count Dooku, Droids, Jango Fett, Padme, Boss Nass, Watto. There's definitely some potential if they choose to go that route.

There's definitely some potential if they choose to go that route.

We've been told that they plan to do a set for each movie. We know the next one is ROTJ but I imagine the figures you are suggesting will no doubt appear in a future set. As a fan of the original trilogy, I'm glad they are doing them first. Seems only fitting after all.

I would do Luke in the Black outfit (of course he would need a Green Lightsaber this time), The Emperor, The red Imperial Guards, Leia slave, Lando in guard disguise, Wicket, Admiral Ackbar, Bib Fortuna, Gammorrean Guard, Han in Carbonite, Jabba the Hutt, and Vader sans helmet as the chaser, with his ghost being the variant.

I don't think we really need two ghosts. Maybe the variant for this series could be the Han Solo in Carbonite, with a regular Han Solo as the normal figure?

Can't wait for this series. The chaser should be the battle damaged vader and they should have a royal guard in the series

I wouldn't mind a ghost since i do not have Ghost Obi. I hope there is 1 or 2 designs or vinyls at florida project regarding Star Wars 2. i would love a Luke in fighter pilot uniform but they could hold off for another set since i agree 1 luke per set is enough. Newer trilogy i would love a Darth Maul with like horns sticking out since they have been making more accessories. Is the first one for sure being re-released because i bought one case already but might buy another to try and get Ghost.

Greedo looks so cool! And the core Disney characters in Star Wars costumes should sell like hotcakes! As a side note, I would love to see them do that style of thing with other movies/shows (like the amazing Mickey Rizzo 9")...

As we reported months ago, Star Wars Series #2 is indeed based off another original trilogy movie - Episode IV - A New Hope.

So the character Star Wars will come out separately from Star Wars series 2?

Correct. The Disney character series will be available in open window boxes, and they will be out sooner than Star Wars #2.

If we want to speculate, with Jedi's anniversary coming up in 2013, it would make sense for that to be the third series.

I think this is the first time that I'm really disappointed these will be on the new mold. I was mildly disappointed Villains 2 and Animation 2 are on the new mold but have kinda accepted it. It's not the mold that disappoints me but more the fact that these will look totally different, and possibly be better looking, than the first series. I hope they redo the first series characters in the new mold. I don't really mind the new mold on the Park and Urban series since those designs are all over the place and don't need some kind of uniformity throughout the whole collection and I can treat the new ones as a whole new collection. But these character based series are going to be affected more because the two molds are not going to look right mixed together. It's like starting all over. So it would suck to have certain characters in the old mold and missing on the new. It's going to look like the original trilogy vs the new trilogy.
