CP3 trade blocked by the NBA. I now expect Chris Paul not to be traded to ANY big market team.

I'm kinda glad they blocked the trade, cuz Odom AND Pau for CP3? IDK about that one, I wouldn't mind the trade if in the end LAL also gets Dwight.
It sucks LO was sent to Dallas. Now if LA doesn't land Dwight...
...uh oh...
Cp3 to the clippers? Does that make clippers a better team? Maybe a playoff caliber team?

It might have if he made it there. Looks like they switched their focus to billups. A better fit and they didnt have to give up everyone except blake to get him. The hornets ( aka stern ) wants way too much for cp3. Now I just hope Orlando can make 1 or 2 trades and get deep in the playoffs this year and convince dwight to stay.
Go Clips! Because they're not the Lakers haha. I can't wait to see lob city-CP3 to Griffin and Jordan. Not sure how much I like Billups as a 2 though...only time will tell. Hate to see Eric Gordon go. He'll tear it up in NO. Oh and GO WARRIORS!

Oh and would anyone be interested in a fantasy basketball league?

Anyone's fantasy team doing amazing?
My sleepers:
Spencer Hawes
Ryan Anderson
Jarrett Jack (even though it was kind of expected)
Was Carl Landry, but as of late he's getting garbage minutes off the Hornet's bench. He used to average 14-7
Is anybody else more into basketball this year because of the lockout? I have always been anti-NBA, never really got into it, but now I can't get enough. I feel like the league is benefitting from a shorter/more compact schedule too.
I can see where you're going with this, and I agree. Last season, I couldn't get ENOUGH basketball, there were maybe a dozen games per week, and there were some days when there were no games at all. Everything seemed so slow. Now, there are no fewer than 2 games a day, and at most maybe 8! For fans its a blessing, but for the players quite the opposite (SO many injuries)
Huge trades this past week! Such a let down that Dwight decided to stay in Orlando. I think he's just wasting his career with mediocre team. If management hasn't brought it talent by now, what makes him believe that they'll do it before his contract is up in 2013?
actually extremely happy he is staying in orlando... was a little nervous we were going to make some bad decisions and trade our two bigs for him. let's see what sessions brings to the table.
I think he's going to leave once his contract is over.
I'm hoping the Warriors sit Curry the rest of the season...they're not going to make playoffs. Losing gives you a better chance at the lottery.

I watch as much basketball as I can right now. I get so consumed with blogs and trade rumors especially before the the march trade deadline! I was very surprised that lakers traded d.fish tho! Very surprised! He kind of did it to himself in my opinion. I knew at the beginning of the season that if he didn't retire he would be eventually be traded and not end his career as a Laker. I think there is a high chance the Lakers will retire his number.
Also, I'm pretty pissed that the lakers lost last night at home, but I understand you can't win them all. They had poor poor defense and it was a bad shooting night for Kobe. Kobe should have taken away some of his missed shots to get it to Bynum more since he was having a better percentage night. Oh well, hopefully this will be a over confidence reality check!
