I think I'm going to try and grab mine soon. I don't want it to be like the 3" golden gate bridge vinyl where they said it was going to be a limited release but all they made was 1800 and ran out in less then a week. I say that is more like a limited edition not no limited release.
It's like vinyls are my crack and I just can't get enough!

I was at D street disneyland and they seem to have plenty on display, but decided to pass I already spent too much on Bolt and other vinyls.

There will be a special release of the Cars vinyl 2-packs on September 17 at the Stockton St. Disney Store in S.F. to coincide with the release of the next city exclusive vinyl. The street date for other stores for Cars vinyls is Monday Sept. 19.
I was looking forward to this pairing prior to its release but I'm not sure its one I have to have.
These must not be all that popular because there were a million available at my local Disney Store.
Disney Stores have been overloaded with Cars product that just isn't moving. Combined with low pre-sale numbers and a less than expected box office, I think it's safe to say Cars 2 has been an overall disappointment for the company.Originally Posted by Anders Limpar

Also I believe they are open edition - so Disney will probably have them readily available at stores and at the parks for a while.

these didn't seem that popular theirs still loads of them left and they have been online for awhile now.
The Disney Stores are also having BOGO sale for Cars Toys and Plush and these fall under that promotion! Plus they are on sale for $14.99!
DS.com still has these guys at regular price but my local DS has them for 14.99. I bought a set just for Mater. I just don't care for McQueen.
